Description of the project

It is for the biofuel industry (biotubosine) and edible oil

The project will be develop in the Yucatan Peninsula, in the states of Yucatan and Quintana Roo.

There is a great interest of rural organizations to participate, due to the fact that it will generate employment and will improve the agricultural practices.

SIZE• 1000 peasants in the states of Quintana Roo and Yucatan

• Initial Area 2000 hectares of crops

• Carthamus: 600 hectares: 360,000 liters oil / year

• While grow Jatropha in 600 hectares, in association with maize

• Oil 438,000 liters / year

MICROALGAE• The selection of varieties of microalgae is essential because

its oil quantities vary greatly.• The production will be done by PhotoBioReactors near the

plant locations.• The maximum capacity of one hectare of microalgae in

appropriate PhotoBioReactors is 90,000 liters of oil / year.
