ORDER 1. In this Order, ‘annexed lands’ means the land described in Appendix A and

shown in Appendix B. 2. For taxation purposes in 2008 and later years, the annexed land and assessable

improvements to it

(a) will be assessed by the village on the basis as if they had remained in Red Deer County, and

(b) will be taxed by the village in respect of each assessment class that applies

to the annexed lands and the assessable improvements to it using the municipal property tax rate established by Red Deer County from year to year.

3. Where in any taxation year a portion of the annexed land is redesignated, at the request of or on behalf of the landowner, under the Village of Delburne Land Use Bylaw to another designation then section 2 ceases to apply at the end of the taxation year in respect of that portion of the annexed lands and the assessable improvements to it.

4. Notwithstanding section 3, section 2 does not cease to apply in respect of a

portion of the annexed lands that is redesignated under the Village of Delburne Land Use Bylaw to the designation "Reserved for Future Development District".
