New versions of BIMobject® Apps are ready for BOPC™

The BIMobject® Apps are now delivered in completely new versions for ArchiCAD, Revit and

SketchUp. The new versions support BOPC™ and make it possible for users to enrich the ob-jects with more properties and product information as the project plan proceeds. This supports different branch standards which demand dynamic manufacture-specific information. It also enables COBie, which the UK Government has mandated for public sector building projects, to be handled in a user-friendly and effective way.

Downloading new properties to BIM objects, which have already been placed in BIM projects by using apps, is a unique service in the cloud solution provided by BIMobject. This also en-ables the very first LOI (Level Of Information) compliance service. It will become increasingly important for manufacturers in order to provide different information during the BIM process.

Functions for version control as well as updating generic properties have been reviewed and improved. Now, you as a user are able to preview Families (Revit), Components (SketchUp) and Objects (ArchiCAD) that have been updated, in a user-friendly interface which is easy to understand, before approving the updates in your projects.
