Dear Second Grade Families,

I hope that each of you had a wonderful weekend, I know I did! My heart melted with joy this past Saturday as I watched many of the students in our class make their First Reconciliation! It was also beautiful to see their families come to support them, with not only taking part in our prayer service, but to also take part in confession as well. I’m so excited to begin the next part of our classrooms journey to First Communion in the spring! Meetings for this special event begin very soon!Request: Please remember to pack your child a healthy morning snack. We have had quite a few students requesting snacks on a regular basis. The snack does not need to be a large one since we have lunch about an hour after we have our snack break. Thank you.

During Advent, our class will be saying a daily prayer and lighting our classroom Advent candles. I wanted to include a prayer option for everyone that could be said daily before dinner as a family. Enjoy this special time in our church year!
