Number facts Challenge • It started this week.• Pupils have to learn all their number facts to 10 by heart, by the end of Year 1.• Each Monday in our Maths lesson we will learn about the number facts of the week. Their blue number book will be put in their reading folder. Please complete the sheet at home.• Please set aside a quiet time 3x a week to practise these facts with your child so they can tell you the answer straight away without using their fingers.• Each Friday morning there will be a test.• There are lots of free websites where pupils can practise these number facts (please see handout).

We would love it if you were able to come into school this term to read a fairy story to the children to link with our IPC theme of Fairytales.

Please let us know if you

are able to do this.
