Chrysler BuildingIn the summer of 1929, a ”race for the sky “happened on the island Manhattan. A man named Chrysler was coming second until he put a small spire on to the top of his building. It became the Chrysler Builder and was the tallest building in the world. It was 318 m tall, which is 18 m taller than the Eureka Tower. But the Empire State Building became the tallest after another 4 months. The Chrysler building is the most decorated building in the world. Mr Chrysler wanted his building to look like his cars.
