Using W and a 2.5mm crochet hook, ch3 (count as dc), now work 76 dc foundation sts, join LB with
sl st in top of ch3 to form a loop (77)
Round 2
Continuing in LB ch1, 1sc in ea st around, sl st in ch1 to join (77)
Round 3
Repeat round 2, join DB with sl st in ch1 to join (77)
Round 4
Continuing in DB ch1, 1sc in next 2 sts, 1dcfps around sc below from round 2, *1sc in next 3 sts,
1dcfps around sc below from round 2* repeat from * to * until last st, 1sc in last st, join W with sl st
