Faith In Motion & Nursery Care – we’re off to the arena this morning. Coffee and McDonald’s - Rev. Mary-Jane continues to be without an office. In order to stay connected she will be at the Newcastle McDonald’s on Tuesday morning at 10 am having coffee. You are welcome to join her. Please note she will not be there Thursday this week.

Friendship Connection meets Thursday, October 24 at The Fisherman’s Restauranton the 35/115 at 10:30AM. All ladies are welcome to come and enjoy refreshment and fellowship.

The U.C.W. will be placing an order for the 2020 United Church calendars. This year, as well, we have listed on an order form a number of books, games and gift items we thought might be of interest

Roast Beef Dinner – We’re celebrating our 195th Anniversary with our Dinner on Sunday, November 24 at 5:30PM. This large event is hosted by the Stewards but we hope the congregation can help us by signing up for different needs on the sheets posted in the narthex. Dinner

Menu: roast beef with gravy, buttered corn, candied baby carrots, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, buns, selection of pies, coffee, tea, apple or tomato juice. Tickets are available from members of the Stewards. Cost: $10 per child 10 and under, 4 years and under free, $20/person, family 2 adults and children 10 & under $50.

Coffee Plus – Due to the renovations we will not be having Coffee Plus in October, however, your contributions to the Food Bank will still be gratefully received.

Christmas Marketplace will be held on November 23. If you would like some table space (part of a table, a full table) to sell any products from Grow Your Dough, please speak to Susan.

Would you like Pumpkins for Halloween? James Kent has generously donated pumpkins, both orange and white to the Church. We will be selling the pumpkins on Oct. 27 for $5 each or 5 for $20. Please pre-order on the signup sheet in the narthex. All proceeds go towards the hall build.
