HIGHLIGHTED PROJECTBlackford County Historical Society$4,334.68 – Garage Restore Project-Shelving Phase

The Blackford County Historical Society had a number of large bound newspaper books and other historical itemsthat were stored on donated wooden shelving and metal shelving that wasn’t designed to hold the weight of theitems. The shelving was coming apart and in danger of collapsing. A Heritage Support Grant funded thepurchase of new steel wire shelving designed to hold the weight of the items. The books and items are nowreorganized and securely stored on the new shelves.
