Dr. Diana Mager, Fairfield University Kanarek Center Director of Continuing Education, hasjoined the Association Board. She brings extensive experience in hospice and palliative care and led the roll out of thenational "End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium (ELNEC)" program to enhance palliativecare in nursing. Dr. Mager, an ELNEC "train the trainer," developed a six-week, twelve-hourELNEC certificate program and recruited participants from acute, long term, and home careagencies.
