Dear business colleagues anD frienDs,

Allow me please to give you he-

arty greetings, not only on my

own behalf, but on behalf of all

my fellow workers in particular.

Another year has passed and

we head for the most awaited,

greatest feast of glass. It enables us, as every year, to have the

unique opportunity to meet all of you and to spend our time

together, as pleasantly as possible.

It will be a great honour to us to introduce you our new collec-

tion of shapes and wide range of decorations that makes our

company Crystalex CZ, s.r.o. really world-famous and sought-

-after by our business partners. We anticipate that especially

our commercial partners would be able to best assess the pro-

gress that our company has realized in recent years and the

up-to-dateness of our assortment range; that they will be able

to appraise the extent how the quality of our products has been

improved, and also, how unique are the properties of the glass

material Sparkle that represents us in every single product.

It is a great pleasure for me to inform you that in 2015, we man-

aged to exceed the psychological limit of turnover over 1 billion

Czech crowns (i.e. 40 millions Euros). This is an evident indicati-

on to everyone, that even in the year, which was extremely diffi-

cult for all glass manufacturers, mainly due to political develop-

ments in many regions throughout the world and to fluctuations

of many national currencies, Crystalex CZ, s.r.o. was able to in-

crease its sales for the goods sold by more than 8%.

We also want to inform all our customers that since the summer

of 2016, we will have new manufacturing technologies that will

allow us to significantly expand our production capacities both

for polished and drawn stemware. Crystalex CZ, s.r.o. will thus

be able not only to improve service for our customers notice-

ably, but also to offer the whole product range of utility glass; this

is to be supported especially by attractive design, perceptively

designed decorations, and glass material of exceptional quality.

In conclusion allow our complete team of the company Crystalex

CZ, s.r.o. to express our sincere thanks for the existing mutual

co-operation, which we profoundly appreciate. We firmly believe

that together, we will keep this way and, with your kind help, we

will continue to develop our glorious history and famous brand

of “Bohemia Crystal”.

Like every year, we have

prepared a lot of interesting

innovations for our customers.

Besides two completely new lines, we have extended the

successful series of Turbulence by stemless glass, we

have added two tumblers to the suite Grace, etc. Also, the

assortment range of vases and bowls was enlarged in an

interesting way. Let us introduce our major innovations.

Novelties for

“Only harmonic interaction of all senses can bring

you the ultimate experience of quality drink.

Delicate touch of the slimmest stem, gentle sound

of clinking, and concerted contact of lips and ex-

ceptionally thin glass will impress an unrepeatable

feeling to every moment.”

That’s also a way how the novelty for the year 2016 can be described. The aim of the Attimo

suite is to highlight the uniqueness of the moment. The combination of strangely shaped cup

and extremely thin stem gives a unique appearance to a table. Besides the stemware, Attimo

series also offers two exclusive tumblers for serving water or wine.

Bella counts among the suites characterized

by low-height stem. Its elegantly formed stem

and the shape of its cup are, in addition to its

serviceability, also excellent for embellishment

by various decoration techniques. Bella

comes in four sizes, with a beautiful gift box.

For this year, the company Crystalex has prepared an

enlargement of the unique series that combines both

innovative design and practicality. A new, exclusive

stemless glass will enlarge the range of Turbulence line.

Right at first glance, the embossed element is visible at

the bottom part of glass, which extends to its inner space, too. This feature, in

conjunction with circular movements of the glass, results in faster oxidation and

better release of wine aroma. Time for preparing wine for consumption is thus

reduced. Nowadays, Turbulence is offered in three stemware glass sizes – 350 ml,

550 ml, and 570 ml (burgundy), and recently also in a stemless version – 500 ml.

The successful novelty of the last year, Grace, has been

added by two tumblers this year, to complete this traditional

series. Let us recall the stemware Grace, the appearance

of which has the real royal grace impression. This suite, due

to its remarkably formed stem and quite atypically shaped

cup, gives also an abundance of decoration possibilities that

even emphasise the uniqueness of this line. Also exclusive

handmade jug and carafe form part of the Grace range.

Especially, our production of decorated glass reigns on world

markets. We are very particular about the widest possible range

of original motifs and adornment processing.

The art of decoration forms a significant added value

that sets us remarkably apart from our competition.

Well balanced portfolio of both traditional and modern

decors is not only universally oriented, but it includes

also patterns, which are adapted according requests

of individual market territories.

As the only company in the world, we are able to offer

such a wide variety of decorative techniques.

Let us introduce some of them.

Decoration techniques

PantograPh Etching

is the most demanding technology boasting more than 150 years

old history. Decor creation is executed in several stages. At first,

glass is covered by wax, and then decor is engraved precisely

into it by force of needles. Subsequently, glass is immersed into

etching bath, which completes the decor through its reaction

with glass. Decoration realized in such way can be further

enhanced by golden rims or spraying.

Engraving (DiamonD Engraving)

both hand- and machine-made. Its principals consist in use of

a small disc; on its perimeter, there are placed tiny diamond pieces,

which incise conspicuous and elegant decors under a stream of

running water.

Painting

Glass is hand decorated by various types of colors

(cold ones, baken etc.), prospectively by gold or platinum.

Mainly, floral and ornamental patterns are created by this

technique.

high EnamEl

Is original hand technique from the region of Nový Bor; a ceramic

material is applied on glass that is repeatedly painted and baked

in a kiln. It represents a matchless peculiar tradition.

ScrEEn-Printing

Recent technology that introduces simplicity and speed into

decor realization. It is both machine- and handmade. At first, it is

necessary to prepare a screen – stencil, that contains respective

pattern. Subsequently, particular articles are printed by force

of pressing selected color through the screen.

SPraying

Increasingly used machine- and handmade technique, which offers

an ample selection of shades, tones, and types of colors, whether

they are coating, transparent, glossy, matt, or modern metallic ones.

Love is the most beautiful emotion that

we can feel. Love drives us constantly on

and on. Love gives us strength and hope.

Let’s show our better halves what we feel

for them.

A great, and big, addition to the family of

decoration projects is also a set of Claudia

Celebration. Big – because this is a 24-piece

set containing liqueur, wine, brandy and

champagne glasses. Therefore, this set acts

as a perfect gift for every important occasion.

The term gondola predominantly invokes traditional

long boats that cruise waterways of the historic city

of Venice in Italy and are very popular with tourists.

In our case, we are not talking these famous vessels

but the range of vases and bowls with crimped

rims resembling the above-mentioned means of

transport. This ripple ads dynamism; in conjunction

with a variety of colours, an ideal item arises that fits

to any home.

Nowadays, it is very modern and trendy to use noticeable, sometimes

yet striking colours. One of the popular colour types are so called

neon colours. Combination of such colours and carefully selected

stemware and tumblers has brought the decoration project neON into

being. The peculiar feature of this design is using four neon colours

in different variations on the aforementioned articles. Some wonderful

combinations were brought into existence, which surely attract even the

eye of customers of more conservative feeling.

In addition to plain products, we also specialize in articles embellished

by different decorative techniques. These techniques give rise to

a countless amount of unique decors. Again: to achieve better

orientation for the customer, we deliver the most interesting, and

most successful ones in special packaging. In comparison with the foregoing, the packaging lines differ in one substantial

fact: respective decoration is displayed also on the package. This exciting concept is used e.g. for the projects like colourful

Rainbow, traditional Exclusive, funny Crazy or fresh Floral. Let’s look at other members more closely.

The assortment lines designed to be used in the horeca

segment form an integral part of product portfolio of the com-

pany Crystalex. We are aware of the fact that heavy demands

are made on glass in this market segment. Therefore, the

articles are to be of extreme resistance and stability, serviceabi-

lity, and, last but not least, distinctive and individual design.

We develop the glass material Sparkle for our articles,

to fulfil high demands for their quality. The material is cha-

racterized by high mechanical strength, excellent resistance

to dishwashers as well as against thermal shocks. Sparkle

products are distinguished by absolute clarity without any

colour shades, sparkling brightness and perfect transparency,

thus offering a unique visual effect. In this manner, stemware

pieces, tumblers, carafes and decanting carafes are available,

not forgetting also jugs and pitchers.

Currently, we have over 150 items in our HoReCa range;

15 of them are brand-new in this year. This year we have

launched the rebecca suite to the market, a series of

elegant great looking cups that certainly cannot be missed on

the table. We aim for creating compact series; therefore, con-

secutive enlargement of established collections by new articles

proceeds. Last year, 4 tumblers were added to the Siesta

range. These tumblers follow their forerunners both in their

shape and finish. Thus we have reached extra versatility of this

suite, which is now suitable for all occasions.

This year, we have prepared a completely new range of long

drink cocktail glasses of original forms. Our de-

signers, considering the fact that every cocktail needs slightly

different conditions to be prepared and served, have develo-

ped a comprehensive collection of glasses to cover the most

frequent types of mixed drinks.

We are able to offer our full assortment also in various decora-

ted designs, from company logos sandblasting up to combina-

tion of engraving and spraying, just to mention an example.

The HoReCa industry forms quickly developing and rapidly

growing segment of the market. Its customers cease from con-

servative approach; on the contrary, they desire for uniqueness,

trying to become different and attractive. Our goal is to support

this trend and to meet our customers’ requirements this way.
