Voss Eduardo Welling Due to some delay in receiving reports and the difficulties of reducing the volume of very interesting material to the necessary size, it has been necessary to postpone until Number 4 the annual FIELD SEASON SUMMARY, for the 1960 season. This was originally scheduled for this issue, No. 3" Instead, all the Notices are being given now and this section will probably be omitted from the SUMMARY issue so that all available space can be used for the reports. The Editor is using this way of informing members who have sent in notes which have not appeared in the News , that some of the these notes are of more permanent nature and have been sent either to C .L. Remington for use in the - Journal, or to Fred Thorne for use in the "Collector's " section of the Journal. They have not been ignored! Ring Card4 , of Farmington, Gann. , says he operated "black lights" last year, within a mile of six traps erected by business establishments to combat insects. The "take" at his black lights seemed not .<, be affected, at least not appreciably. Quite a few people have written in and asked where they may buy the "Butterflies of Formosa", recently reviewed.
