Dear Business Partners and Friends of ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA,
In very challenging times for Hong Kong and China, Austrian businesscontinues to be a trustw orthy partner. ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Hong Kongw as the host for several high-level events in Hong Kong including the annualmeeting for Austrian companies doing business in China AUSTRIA CONNECTw ith 140 participants. Austria w as one the few countries w ith a countrypavilion at the environmental fair EcoExpo Asia. We informed parents andstudents in an info session programmes to pursue English speaking studies inAustria. Moreover, Austria’s Vice Minister for Transportation, Innovation andTechnology Gernot Grimm and his delegation had fruitful meetings in HongKong to foster further collaboration for smart city and innovation topics.
Looking ahead, the Austrian Trade Commission w ill continue introducingAustrian smart cities and environmental technologies to the region. We arew orking on bringing Austrian startups and innovation players to Hong Kong. Inaddition, w e w ould like to share w ith our local partners some of the Austriathoughts how sustainability and doing business can go hand in hand.Thank you for your highly appreciated support!
