Lake County Clerk’s Office to close due to Hurricane Dorian
TAVARES, FL — All offices of the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller will be closed
Monday, Sept. 2 for Labor Day, as well as Tuesday, Sept. 3 and Wednesday, Sept. 4 in anticipation of severe weather due to Hurricane Dorian.
The National Hurricane Center is anticipating tropical-storm-force winds to begin making their way into Central Florida by Sunday evening or early Monday morning.
All payment processing will be unavailable during the closure, and due dates will be extended for customers who have a payment deadline.
All jurors summoned for the week of Sept. 2-6 should call 352-742-4162 or visit www.lakecountyclerk.org/jurorinfo after 5 p.m. on Sept. 4 for the latest reporting instructions.
Court hearings scheduled for Sept. 3 and 4 are canceled. Additional court dates may be affected, and customers will be notified of their rescheduled dates when they become available.
Foreclosure sales the week of Sept. 2 are canceled. Customers will be notified of the rescheduled dates.
