lunch and an opportunity for children to

buy a ‘heart’ for 50p to write a valentines message on. All proceeds

from the messages swill go to the British Heart Foundation.

Reading totals

Here are this week’s reading totals. We’re really into the swing of it and with many children taking on the addition-

al reading challenge. 6 classes have reached 100% and 3 at 95%. Due one child being absent in Year 5 today, they

just missed out on achieving 100% in all four classes! Looking forward to next week’s totals! 3S have done it again—

10 weeks with 100% well done! 96% of ALL children have read three or more times this week—fantastic!

Change for Life

Your child has recently brought home a Change4life booklet. This fun and interactive booklet

is for the whole family to share and learn about swapping sugar for healthier choices. 'The ad-

ventures of (your name) in a sugar smart world.' booklet encourages you to explore, enjoy and

learn about healthy swaps to help lead healthier lives in our community. Take a look and this

could help with introducing more healthier packed lunch choices . Are you fed up of making the same sandwiches

and need inspiration? Take a look at the website below as it’s full of great ideas and substitutes for a ore nutri-

tious and healthy lunch. A winner for children.
