Our first Pound in the Round was a great success! Over $130 was raised to help mailcare packages to our brave men and women in the USMC serving overseas during this

holiday season. Way to share the love!Pound in the Round will resume in January to accommodate the annual baked

goods/silent auction this month!

Strengthening Our Chapter

Our chapter is always in a greatposition when it comes tomember retention and

recruitment, as we are an activecommunity of educators,consistently reaching out tooutstanding women to join ourchapter. However, we have lost afew members this year due to

busy schedules, etc.

Sowhat do we do about this??Continue to invite your amazingcolleagues to join our team. Jill

Swaim will be accepting newmember applications through theend of 2013. All membership

forms MUST be in on time to beconsidered. We will introduceour new members in January,vote in February, and initiate inApril. Since we have no Marchmeeting, on time applications arecrucial!
