Principals Report A fantastic swimming carnival was held yesterday and all involved represented our school with pride. A huge thank you to staff, parents and students who helped make this day run so smoothly. A special mention to Mr Bourke and Miss Doak who were the organisers of the day. Well done everyone! Mrs Ally Campbell Principal Canteen News Thank you to the wonderful parents and carers that are volunteering in our canteen. We are always happy to see new faces helping with food preparation or serving. We are currently looking for canteen volunteers. If you have an hour or two to spare we would really appreciate your help especially in the morning prep time, organizing lunch orders and snacks. If you are able to help as a volunteer in the canteen, please contact on 6722 3072. Road Safety Just a reminder that school zones are in operation around our school. Double demerits apply for speeding & mobile phone offences in active school zones. Lights flash on the back of buses to warn motorists they're picking up or dropping off kids. Slow down to 40km/h and look out for children crossing. Please remind students to cross roads safely. Kitchen Garden Students will be cooking up a storm from next week in our Kitchen Garden. Year 3 and Year 4 students have received notes outlining the schedule. Costs have remained the same as in previous years. If you have not received your note, please collect one from the student office. Sport Report

This year's Swimming Carnival was filled with fun, team spirit and sportsmanship. All students participated wholeheartedly and their behaviour throughout the day was outstanding. Swimmers clocked some very fast times encouraged along by fantastic cheering from their house groups.

Sweaney took out the house points competition this year. At the end of the day we were all entertained by the student Vs. teacher Vs. parent relay. Parents and staff fielded competitive teams but were outswum by an enthusiastic group of students. I'm sure the adults will strive to reclaim the title and rubber chicken in 2021. It is such a joy to be part of a wonderful school community where we can have fun together like this!

Thank you to everyone who helped to make the day a success and to the spectators who came and joined us.

Many students will be attending the Zone Swimming Carnival next Friday. We wish them all the best and are confident they will do us proud. Congratulations to the 2020 champions and runners up:
