MAY READING CHALLENGE

A big thank you to all theparents, carers and children whocame to the May ReadingChallenge week. We hope youenjoy getting stuck into thebooks over the holidays.

TELEGRAPH AND ARGUSCOMPETITION

With Kate and Williams newbaby just around the corner, theTelegraph and Argus are runninga competition to design a babycard for the couple.

The competition is open tochildren aged 4 to 12 and theclosing date is 12th June2013. If you would like to takepart in the competition, pleasecome to the office for an entryform.

The prizes included iPad minisand shopping vouchers, as well

as the chance for your design tobe sent to William and Kate. Wehave lots of budding artists inschool, so we would love lots ofchildren to get involved with thecompetition.

YR1 UNDER THE SEA

This term, our Year 1 childrenhave been learning aboutcreatures that live under thesea. The children have workedreally hard to produce lots oflovely writing and beautifulartwork, which was displayed inan under the sea art gallery this

week. Parents and children visitedthe gallery, and thoroughly enjoyedlooking at the childrens work.

GOLDEN LEARNER

After the half-term holidays we will,once again, be hosting our GoldenLearner assemblies! Who has beena star learner this term? Have yougone the extra mile in all of yourwork? If you have, you may havebeen chosen as this terms GoldenLearner for your class.

Parents and carers of the chosen

HALF-TERM HOLIDAYS

Today we will break up for

the half-term holidays. Schoolwill re-open on Monday 3rdJune 2013.
