ALUMINIUM – excellent model for success

It was an incredible feat which ALUMINIUM 2012 and its committed exhibition team pulled off without any hitches. More than 65,000 square metres of space were „packed up“ in Essen in 2010, and more than 75,000 square metres were then rolled out for the next world fair which was held in Düsseldorf last October. Following the launch of the event in 1997 as an initiative of the GDA, ALUMINIUM has since developed into one of the most successful industrial trade fairs in the world. For the rst time, ALUMINIUM offers companies from the aluminium recycling sector a platform to present themselves together at no great expense. The pavilion is targeted at suppliers and stake-holders from the aluminium recycling sector such as scrap dealers, manufacturers of sorting systems, shredders, briquetting presses, remelting plants, furnace technology or suppliers of secondary aluminium.

The joint stand is located in hall 9, most of which is dedi-cated to the subject of primary aluminium. Approximately 15 exhibitors have the possibility to present themselves on about 400 sqm. The participants of the pavilion book a full-service-package, which includes following additional services

compared to an individual participation at the fair:high-quality turnkey stand; information counter with hostess;common catering area (including catering voucher) as well as additional target group speci c marketing.

Are you interested in exhibiting in the pavilion or do you require further information? For any queries or a non-binding stand proposal please do not hesitate to contact Ms Dahinten at +49 211 90191-104 or by e-mail to [email protected].

GCC countries expected to produce almost 13% of global aluminium

Companies set to participate in the upcoming edition of ‘ALUMINIUM MIDDLE EAST’ that takes place in Dubai from April 23 to 25, 2013, are eagerly looking forward to capitalise on the numerous opportunities that the event is expected to present, especially in the backdrop of the forecast that Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) coun-tries will produce as much as 13% of the global aluminiumproduction in 2013. This is driven mainly by aggressive investments in the region’s aluminium industry, including construction of new smelters and the expansion of the pipeline network that has further reinforced the region’s position in the global market.

With global demand for aluminium estimated to increase and reach 70 million metric tons per year by 2020, GCC countries are expected to boost aluminium production capacity by up to 40% to reach 5 million metric tons by 2014, from around 3 million tons in 2012. Moreover, the demand for aluminium in the architectural, building and construction sectors in the GCC nations is forecast to grow from 400,000 tons per year to 531,000 tons per year by 2021.

Mohammed Bader-Eddin, Show Director of ‘ALUMINIUM MIDDLE EAST 2013’, points out, “The signi cant cost advantages of the aluminium smelters in the Middle East are enabling them to maintain or increase production and advance capacity expansion plans, while some high-cost primary aluminium smelters outside the region have cut or ceased production in response to low metal and high power prices.

Given this scenario, the GCC’s aluminium industry is highly anticipating ALUMINIUM MIDDLE EAST 2013, which will feature the expansion and investment plans of the Gulf’s key players and provide a robust platform for expanding market reach within the region.”

His Excellency Ahmad Al Tayer, Governor of Dubai International Financial Centre

(DIFC) at ALUMINIUM DUBAI 2011

Among the key attractions of ALUMINIUM MIDDLE EAST 2013 are the Innovation Podium and the Business Matching service designed to serve exhibitors and visitors, enabling them to bene t from industry learning and networking opportunities with some of the most important producers and global manufacturers gathered under one roof.

Asia‘s leading sourcing and networking platform for the complete aluminum industry chain!

ALUMINIUM CHINA 2013 is Asia’s leading aluminium industry platform, annually held in Shanghai. By displaying China’s unmatched variety of semi- nished products and equipment as well as the latest innovations and high-end technology of 450 global exhibitors including major companies from Japan, Korea and Europe ALUMINIUM CHINA 2013 is the rst choice for branding, networking and sourcing for 15,000 attendees from 90 different countries and regions.

ALUMINIUM CHINA this year introduces a number of fresh initiatives that will create more business opportuni-ties to visitors and exhibitors alike and enrich the mutual exchange among global experts. These innovative projects include a list of new in-depth conferences like the “2013 Deep Processing Forum on Aluminium in China’s trans-portation industry” and the newly launched “AL Opinion Leader forum”, hosted online on “AL Opinion Leader TV”. A further event highlight will once again be the China Non-Ferrous Metals Industry Association’s annual “China Aluminium Fabrication Forum” hosted by Beijing Antaike Information Development.

China’s aluminium demand is set to outpace forecasts and grow by 11% in 2013 to 23 million tons as the country’s new investments begin to take effect. Continued spending on large infrastructure projects, combined with domestic economy stimulus plans led to improved growth in the Chinese economy in Q4 of 2012 to 7.9% and industrial production to 10.3%. At the same time, local automotive production grew 6.3% YoY to 20.6 million units in 2012. The organizer of ALUMINIUM CHINA 2013 will leverage the strong demand and invite an even bigger number of 550 targeted top buyers from China as well as buyers delegations from selected application industry sectors in Asia, for pre-arranged match-making sessions with inter-national exhibitors. This year, ALUMINIUM CHINA will again run two concurrent trade events – COPPER CHINA and MAGNESIUM CHINA.

ALUMINIUM CHINA 2013 will take place from July 2 to July 4, 2013, at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. The online visitor registration period has now been launched.

ALUMINIUM CHINA 2013

The Indian aluminium industry is booming. Global cutbacks in production seem to have had little impact, and capa-cities continue to grow. Both the Indian government and foreign companies are still investing, causing the national aluminium industry to expand accordingly. All the players in the Indian aluminium market get together at ALUMINIUM INDIA. 123 companies from 16 countries met up with 2,554 visitors from 32 countries in 2011 here. 150 exhibitors and 4,000 visitors are expected in 2013.

Please don‘t hesitate to contact Ms Dahinten by calling her at +49 211 90191-104 or mailing her at [email protected] for a non-binding stand proposal or for further information.
