Leadership has been described as a process of social influence in which one person can enlist the aid and sup-port of others in the accomplishment of a common task, although there are alternative definitions of leadership. For example, some understand a leader simply as somebody whom people follow, or as somebody who guides ordirects others[citation needed], while others define leadership as organizing a group of people to achieve a com-mon goal.Studies of leadership have produced theories involving traits, situational interaction, function, behavior,

power, vision and values, charisma, and intelligence, among others.

WHATS THE TIME ?BY LEO CHATHUNI GAMAGE

Have you ever missed your school bus? Ever got punishment because you were late?If you say no, then you live in a very rare society and it is a fortunate one as well. If time is equal to money, andyouve never gotten late, youve saved a lot of time, which in turn saves a lot of money. Is this true? Does thisreally work in that way? Lets just say you have an urgent meeting in your office. If you wake up late, you might miss your officevehicle arriving on time. Youll have to hire a cab. Sometimes, youll not even make it on time to the office. Thiswill cause you a loss on your money, your time, your reputation, and maybe even your job, depending on the cir-cumstances. Think about it. For the sake of five minute sleep, you risk the most important things in your life. Is it reallyworth it? Well, the answer is too obvious. Nobody wants to sacrifice their dreams for anything or anyone. So whysacrifice it for time? Are you really going to let time win?

If you let time just pass by, you definitely are going to let time win, because you cannot take back when itis gone. All you can do is to take the maximum out of it. Try it. When you are called for an interview, if you cannotgo early, at least try to arrive on time. When you are given a task to make a report, just make it on time. Do notmake thousand excuses to cover one lie. Just be on time. Experience the difference. See how many doors will openfor you if you just show up on time. Believe in the fact that people respect you for the simple decision of workingon time. Do not make anyone wait for you. You might be patient, your friends, family might be patient, but othersmightnt be so patient about your lateness. No one tolerates a person who makes them wait for a task to be done;they value their own time more than anything else.

Just try it. Try at least for one day to wake up on time and do your work on time. Experience the changeyoull make within yourself, the new attitudes around you. Take charge. Win the world. Dont ever let time controlyou. You are a strong, independent person who deserves better than being a slave of anyone, let alone of time. So

be its master. And never let time win, otherwise it will always make you wander Whats the time?
