DonATIon oF BeDWhen one of the teachers of the Escuela de Estadio told Mr. Bodaan that one of their students was dying of cancer but had no bed and was laying on the floor, the staff on the La Mansion immediately jumped into action and donated a queen-size bed complete with sheets, pillows and blankets to ease the horrible pain of this family.

Donation to PAWSStreet animals are a passion for Harry Bodaan, owner of La Mansion and he continues to financially support the efforts of PAWS with another financial donation of $200.00 this month.

Two-hundred dollars in cash plus a donation of a Two-night Presiden-tial Suite for a Silent Auction (val-ued at $1500.00+) was this month’s donation to the computer class of escuela de Matapalo by the La Mansion Inn.

Besides running an Inn, Mr. Bodaan, the owner of the La Man-sion Inn continues to be heavily involved in the Quepos commu-nity. As three-term President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Tourism of the County of Agu-irre, he also serves as the Coordi-nator of the Sister Cities Program between Quepos and Fort Laud-erdale. When officer Marco Ber-rocal Madriz was recently killed in the line of duty in Parrita he did not hesitate to show his respect as the key representative of the Cham-ber, the Sister Cities Program and the Fraternal Order of Police of Fort Lauderdale.
