purchased rolls of grass. The fundraiser marks the start of the ground

Congratulations to Amey Thomas and Alicia Austin for passing their
on-line Beginners course.
New Junior Coaches
Congratulations to Joey Haenen who has progressed from a demon-
strator to Junior Coach and welcome to new Junior Coach Justyse
Dixon from the Platinums Performance Troupe.
New Clubrooms Project Grant Schwarzkopff was kind enough to pop
down to Glassey Park recently to take some
aerial photographs of the site where our new
clubrooms will soon be built.
The builder has now been selected and will be
announced as soon as all the paperwork has
been finalised.
Once all the grass has been removed the
underground irrigation will then be pulled out.

Note-police checks are required for all adult gymnasts (18yrs & Over) The last intake for 2016 will be in Term 3.

Grape Stomp
Competition The BDYC received a last minute
invitation to the Loxton North
Primary School’s annual Grape
Stomp competition. Monetary
prizes are awarded for the winner
in both the senior and junior
sections and although we didn’t win
we all had a great time. Thank you
to Peter, Kathy, Jane, Charlotte,
Alyssa, Levi, Rebekah, Mikayla and
Harry. Well done!
Colds and Flu If you are feeling unwell we ask that you skip your gymnastics session to help
prevent the spread of colds and flu this winter.
Winter Tips Make sure that you continue to bring your water bottle.
Dress in layers-long sleeved leotard, leggings, shorts & t-shirt, tracksuit.
Wear warm shoes to and from the clubrooms-Ugg boots or slip on shoes
are best.
Socks can be worn for warm-ups but must then be removed for training.
Remember-No hoodies, zips, belts, buckles, skirts or demin of any kind.
Cancellations due to bad weather Classes are only cancelled if the weather is too dangerous for you to drive. Eg: Severe hail storms,
wild winds, very heavy rains causing flooding etc. Members will be notified via a message on the
club’s website/Facebook.

Berri Easter Carnival 40 Gymnasts participated in the Easter display this year. Everyone had a great
time on our new Air Track and we received lots of great comments on our display.
Thank you to Big River Supermarket in Barmera for donating the Easter raffle
basket and to everyone who made cakes, gave donations, helped out on the cake
stall and with the gym equipment.
Kindergym Kids Easter Bunny Visit
Everyone enjoyed a special Easter theme at
Kindergym recently with Easter Bunny leaving a
trail for the children to follow to his special
Easter egg delivery.
