and High Schools?SJUSD Wants your Input San Juan Unified is considering changing middle and high school start times and is asking for input from students, families, staff, community members and employees to identify the potential impact. A growing body of research suggests that starting the school day later would better align with students’ natural sleep patterns and improve academic performance. The district wants to hear from the entire community in order to evaluate this potential change. No changes would be made until the 201718 school year or later. If you have an email on file with the district, you should have received an invitation to participate in Thoughtexchange, a new ideasharing process. If you do not have an email address on file, you may request an invitation to participate at www.sanjaun.edu/thoughtexchange. The Thoughtexchange process will be conducted in English and Spanish. The district will be conducting a forum in other languages, including Russian and Arabic. Click HERE for more information about the Thoughtexchange process.
