Seminar in Colombia

What an incredible seminar we  had in Colombia!  It is a joy to teach people who are hungry to learn more about God's Word.  There were over 80 people in attendance who walked  2-3 hours one way each day (morning and evening) from 13 different villages. They sat and listened attentively as we taught 6 hours every day.

It was also a privilege to distribute Bibles and solar-powered audio Bibles (messengers). One man, Juan, has been saved one year, and he is pastoring a church. I gave him his first Bible.

This trip is not for the faint-hearted! After a commercial flight from Costa Rica to Bogota; a 4-hour bus ride and a 2-hour commuter flight, I arrived at the river to embark on a 5-hour canoe trip. Finally arriving at our destination, we then hiked an hour from the river to the village (in the dark)! On the return trip it was by motorcycles, hiking, canoe, plane, bus and finally the last commercial flight back home.
