As you might be aware, the Embassy is also quite involved in the community and often entertains requests for Embassy visits and also to assist any institutions and organisations that require the use of Swiss paraphernalia like the loan of the Swiss flags, canton flags or Swiss informational brochures for a ‘Swiss’ themed event. For example, we recently had a visit from students and lecturers from UiTM Terengganu to the Embassy and they were given a presentation by Mr Rolf Ott on Switzerland on various topics. They were an attentive group and their enthusiasm could be seen by the questions they had for him.

Switzerland is still amongst the preferred destination for MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Events) in particularly in the Banking, Insurance and Direct Sales sector and will be expecting further growth in 2015.
