Students return from the Foreign Trip"A group of Art, French and Spanish students just returned from a 10 day trip entitled "The Artists of France and Spain." The students followed in the footsteps of famous artists such as Monet, VanGogh, Cezanne, Gaudi, Rodin, Picasso and Miro. Some highlights of the trip included visits to Paris, Musée d’Orsay, the Rodin Museum, Giverny and Monet's Garden, a TGV high speed train to Avignon, Pont du Gard, Arles, Aix-en-Provence, studio of Cezanne, Carcassonne, Picasso Museum and Barcelona. Some of us even took a swim in the Mediterranean Sea. Check out the Biglerville High School Art Page on Facebook: https://www.facebook/bhsartpage"

Juniors

It's that time again! Class dues to the Class of 2016 are "due" ASAP! Dues are $20 and when students pay them, they will receive a pair of socks that say "BHS Class of 2016." They are black calf-high socks with silver lettering, and altogether pretty awesome! Dues payments go toward class events, trips, and activities throughout their high school career, and will become especially important when senior year rolls around. Please encourage your child to pay his class dues to Ms. Meeson or Miss Starner as soon as possible.

!College Application Day= Success!"On Wednesday, BHS held a college application drive for the first time. Seniors were able to work on college applications, application essays, as well as find and apply for scholarships. Local admissions representatives from Penn State, Gettysburg College, and HACC were also on hand to help with any questions. Overall, the application day was a great success! We had 50 seniors participate, with at least 50 applications submitted or started. Currently, over 150 applications have been submitted so far this year, and as the numbers from application day roll in, that number will grow ever closer to 200 applications submitted! On top of that, 43 acceptance letters have already been received!" " " "" " " " " " " " " "
