TRANSCRIPT
P5-Faith had an opportunity to
take a field trip to the Bangkok
Post. The gracious hosts pre-
pared a great experience for
us.
Ms. Rainbow greeted us as
soon as we arrived and took us
to the seminar room. The room
(pictured, bottom right) had the
current day’s newspaper and a
copy of the Student Weekly
readied at each students’ sta-
tion.
They began by showing us an
entertaining 15 minute video.
The video included information
such as, the original editor and
the year it began selling news-
papers.
The video also in-
cluded some very
informative infor-
mation. It talked
about the different
jobs that make a
newspaper function.
We learned about
the roles of a report-
er, subeditor, editor,
and photographer.
After the video, the Editor of
the Student Weekly allowed
the students to ask ques-
tions. Some students even
won some prizes!
I think this was a great learn-
ing opportunity. Thank you
TSIS for this great adventure!
Chinese New Year! Chinese New Year is always an exciting time of the
year. Our P5 students
gave a great perfor-
mance to ring in the New
Year. Minnie sang a solo
and the rest of the class
worked hard to memorize
the dance steps.
