own business. We must also continue to support our communities to develop and innovate. Since our inception in 1986, we are actively involved within the entrepreneurial community and communities of Prescott and Russell. Yes, already 30 years!

We are seeing more and more that the interventions in this direction have an impact on the economic growth and prosperity of the communities of Prescott and Russell. Of course, there is still a lot of work to do to ensure that the intentions and the new directions of the government are transformed into action.

As Chairperson of the PRCDC, I am very proud of the work done and the impact of our actions. Thanks to the involvement and the creativity of our team, supported by a dynamic board of directors, we can continue to make of Prescott and Russell a prosperous region.

Étienne Brûlé BreweryThe Canadian beer market has been revolutionized in the last few years, by the micro-brewery movement. This revolution has brought a variety of styles and tastes that were not offered by the large beer manufacturers. The Étienne Brûlé Brewery identifies itself as the first francophone micro-brewery of Ontario. The brewery will soon be opening its doors and installations in the old Embrun village fire station. Its founders, Mathieu Jérome, Pierre-André Roy and Richard Ménard, have developped over a dozen different recipes, following their studies in biotechnologies and beer sommelier. One of their beers, (La Cabane à Sucre), won first place at the National Capital Homebrew Competition 2014, in the German Wheat and rye beer category.

The company’s mission is to distinguish the franco-ontarian culture in the beer market, by offering a superior quality natural product, and especially, reaching all the francophone markets in Ontario and eventually, all of Canada. Their strategic vision is to gain recognition and the affection of Ontario’s francophone community, as well as developing their market amongst Canadian micro-breweries, without compromising their fundamental values.

A vast beer selection will bring the clients different types of styles, tastes and bitterness to supply a growing demand, and surpass the competition’s standards. The 1975, their flagship brew, will be the product to the majority of the clients who enjoy a crisp and refreshing taste. The brewing methodology of Étienne Brûlé Brewery will use only natural products without any artificial preservatives. They will also explore the organic market by using certified ingredients to offer their customers a product that follows the industry demand.

The concept of the local micro-brewery will also bring a sense of belonging to the neighborhood. They will supply draft beer on site including exclusive recipes, bottled beers as well as refillable growlers. Kegs sales and rentals will be supplied for different occasions, as well as a pub food restaurant.

Its President, Josh Murphy, is a mechanical prodigy who has achieved different honors, first in the automotive world before moving on to aviation ground equipment over 7 years ago. With mobile operations, most of their clients are regional airlines and private jet operators, but large equipment manufacturers and different airports now employ them to train on site mechanics all across North America. They have allied themselves with several of these distributors and are the first company to offer a complete ground equipment program, regardless of the customer’s location in Canada, costing almost half what the large manufacturers charge for service contracts.

Although most of their clients are in the Montreal metropolitan area, they have provided training and repairs as far as the Cayman Islands, Hawaii, Northern Ontario and Canada’s Arctic region. The future is bright for this Mobile GSE Inc.’s unique market delivery service in the aviation industry.
