Discover Your God-Given PotentialThe 3 Colors of MinistryAugust 1 - 19, Sundays and Wednesdays at 7 pm; CCB Campus, Room 103

We grow as Christ-followers in maturity and fulfillment when we serve our God-Given giftedness. The 3 Colors of Ministry presents a holistic approach to identifying and developing your spiritual gifts. It is based on the three dimensions of God’s nature, for which the author has chosen the colors of green, red and blue. We will complete this six-session course in only three weeks by meeting twice a week on Sunday and Wednesday nights at 7. Every person will receive a copy of The 3 Colors of Ministry at the first session on Wednesday, August 1. The cost of the book is $12, due at the first class. Children's Ministry News

Promotion Sunday - August 19 This Sunday, all of our age groups, Nursery through Tweens, will be promoting depending on your child’s age. We will also honor all of the new Tweens that are starting 3rd grade with Bibles during the 10:45 service. Please make plans to be there with your children on this Sunday so that we can make this transition as smooth as possible and a fun, positive event for all!

Back-To-School Bash - August 26Please mark your calendars for this year’s Back-to-School Bash. Let’s kick off the new school year by having our Kindergarten through 5th-grade students join us at 4 p.m. at the church for some fun games and time to get to know each other. More details to come.

Volunteer OpportunitiesEvery Sunday, each of us has the opportunity to be in ministry with children through Sunday school. As a Children’s Ministry volunteer, you have the opportunity to plant seeds of faith that can change a life for eternity. Further, by serving in Children’s Ministry you create a welcoming environment for families with young children who are visiting Cahaba Bend for the first time.

We need Children’s Ministry volunteers every Sunday. Please consider serving this summer and beyond. You can volunteer to serve by e-mailing Stephanie Bedsole at [email protected].
