The True Ingredients of a

Boutique Hotel A

s you travel the world you will find a myriad of amaz-ing hotels. These tall, well built structures stand proudly with a complex of clean, well suited rooms waiting for the guests to come shuffling through the

doors. The concept seems simple: good room, good food, keep it clean, keep it friendly.

However, there are those entrepreneurs who have stepped outside the realm of just another “hotel”. Being chal-lenged by the boredom of indifference and creative apathy that seems to permeate much of the tourism industry. Reaching for that something special, that experience which leaves a unique impression, a memory that generates a smile, a distinct ambi-ance that draws people back year after year. This is the mission of La Mansion Inn. After all, we are not just a Hotel. We are a Boutique Hotel.

In recent years, boutique hotels have emerged as the most liked guest accommodation all over the world. But the ironic fact is that many people do not know the real meaning of the term 'boutique' or why this term is used in connection with hotels, neither do they understand the benefits of staying in this type of hotel.

However, one thing which is very clear among the hotel-iers (in particular, Mr. Bodaan at La Mansion Inn) is the fact that they know exactly what qualities and characteristics make their hotel a boutique hotel.

The first quality is none other than size of the hotel. As per the connoisseurs of this business, a hotel with not more than 100 rooms can be called a boutique hotel.

The second quality or characteristic is the distinct atmos-phere of the hotel. It is resolutely believed that atmosphere is a very significant factor for any boutique hotel. Here, the defini-tion of atmosphere is the sum of all facilities and ethereal ser-vices that make a stay, an outstanding one.

La Mansion Inn, known to be “quirky”, “unique” and most definitely “distinct” falls wonderfully into this category. You only need to enjoy one of our personalised tours to see this for yourself. A small wooden staircase leads you to the cool and soothing ambiance of the Bat Cave Bar. Glass doors open into the Private Dining Room reserved for guests who want VIP se-clusion for group dining. Winding staircases take you up to the outstanding rooftop pool with waterfall and swim up bar. A few more steps from the pool and your vista explodes with the in-credible 360 degree ocean and jungle view from the luxurious SKY LOUNGE.

When used in context of boutique hotels, the term at-mosphere in the La Mansion Inn also speaks of the mind-set of our hotel staff and most importantly an understanding of how a

welcoming and friendly service combines to create a sense of closeness among the guests and staff which will further add to the popularity of any hotel.

Here at La Mansion Inn we place a high level of impor-tance on this. We believe that an atmosphere filled with sense of intimacy is a must have factor for boutique hotels, without which a hotel cannot be called a boutique hotel. Much less a “5 Star boutique hotel” .

We recognize that the problem occurs when this atmos-phere is “manufactured” without real acquaintance. In the hotel industry, intimacy is defined as professional caring, professional warmth and professional ministration of personalized services.

The True Meaning of Great Service

Let me explain the meaning of "great service". The staff at La Mansion Inn understand that it is their job to predict or know in advance, the needs and requirements of their guests rather than just responding to them when asked to do so. Knowing what our guests want, when they want, how they want things done and presenting solutions and options in that way just before time is what creates a big gap between good service and great service. This is what distinguishes a good hotel from a great hotel. Great service is to be found in the friendly smile of our staff, the availability of our team to meet your needs at any time of the day. With a goal to make every single guest happy, contented, to give them an extraordinary stay in a place that eventually be-comes a “home away from home”. However great service ex-tends beyond this, it reaches into the minute details. We under-stand that everything from the original artwork in lobby, de-signer equipment in bathrooms, complimentary wine and cham-pagne, a guest's favorite meal, prepared in just the right way, all these are very important factors in creating that one of a kind experience. This is the type of experience we want our guests to remember up until the day they are welcomed back through the doors of our boutique hotel.
