NEWSLETTER 13 – March 2009

JIHIHJJHHHHK

Just a reminder that the next Parent’s Forum is due to take place on Wednesday 4th February at 9.00am. It

would be great to see all of you who came to the initial meeting again, and anyone who was unable to

make it last time

RED NOSE DAY As mentioned in previous correspondence, Friday 13th

March is Red Nose Day. Children (and staff!!!) are being asked to wear their pyjamas – for which a donation

would be gratefully received. There will be a special ‘RED’ lunch, details of which will be posted near the

office when the final menu is confirmed. The school cook will also be making fairy cakes for all the children to

decorate which will then be sold at the end of the day. If the children have any other ‘money making’ ideas, then

please let us know well in advance. Thank you.

HISTORY OF THE SCHOOLWe’re looking at compiling a pictorial history of the school. If anyone has any photographs or newspaper cuttings

which we could copy, they would be greatly appreciated.

WORLD BOOK DAYA number of activities have been arranged for Thursday

5th March to make the day ‘different’, including the children being able to dress up as a book character if they wish. Every child will receive a book token for £1.00 which can be used to buy one of the special

World Book Day books, or to receive money off any book in most book shops. We are hoping to have some of the ‘special’ books delivered to school in time for

book day should the children wish to put their tokens to good use.

CAN YOU HELP?
