The GeriatricAssessment Program at the PhiladelphiaSenior Center is a joint program withJefferson Family Medicine. Participants willmeet with a medical person and a socialservice person. The purpose of the program
is to educate our members and their familiesabout services and programs that can help them continue to be
active and independent in their communities. You do not have toreceive medical care from Jefferson to participate in this program.

I’d like to take this opportunity tothank the Philadelphia Corporationfor Aging for their generosity in themonth of June. We were able to put
in a new dining room floor,handicap accessible doors for our
bathrooms, new tables and chairs atCoffee Cup, a new steam table atTioga, and a host of other capital
improvements due to moniesreceived from PCA. Our buildings
are looking much better and wereally appreciate it.
Thank you to everyone whosupported our Fan Fair programs
throughout the summer. Thislifesaving effort is supported by
local corporations such as ComcastSpectacor, Wissahickon Mountain
Spring Water, Slater Funeral Home,and numerous generous individuals.For those of you who have received
