NexentaVSA for View


NexentaVSA for View (NV4V) is a software solution that combines Nexenta's 3rd generation NAS/SAN storage appliance with a powerful VDI deployment/management server. NV4V is designed to inter-operate seamlessly with VMware vCenter and View servers.

The product is bundled into two virtual machines (OVF images). NV4V is designed from ground up to absorb and hide the complexity of deploying and managing virtual desktop datacenters. The product provides fully automated, GUI-driven VDI provisioning, re-calibration of existing desktop pools, I/O acceleration, performance graphics and analytics, built-in snapshots, and replication. It is a massively scalable, turn-key VDI solution.

For local storage the product automatically provisions and deploys NexentaStors as VSAs – one Virtual Storage Appliance per VMware ESXi host per pool of virtual desktop.
