Observing sites can be near Hwy 99 from Sacramento to Red Bluff, & n. and s. of those cities. Very rarely, fog from S.F. Bay reaches Sac’to; if so, use sites near US 395, Reno to Susanville, & Hwy 44 & 89 to n. of Burney.
