Dan Lorenzo: I have to tell you… I don’t know anyone else who has been to Malta. Have you taken the ferry to Gozo yet?

Emmanuelle Vaugier: A group of us took the ferry to Gozo yesterday. We visited the Ggan-tija Temples, which have been around over a thousand years longer than the pyramids of Egypt. We took a boat out in Dwejra and saw the caves, gigantic cliffs and the famous Azure

Window. Those were the big highlights of the day for me, but we packed a lot in for a quick trip.

You play an interesting character The Morrigan on the hit series Lost Girl. Can you tell us what The

Morrigan is up to this season?

You’ll see The Morrigan interact with more of the other charac-ters this season, as well as learn a bit about her past.

The cast recently traveled to London, how much fun was that?

London was a blast! It was a quick few days, but we defi nitely made the most of it.

Morrigan is up to this season?

D What has been your favorite role that you have played so far?

I have a lot of favorites for varying reasons. But I have to say, The Morrigan is defi nitely at the top of my current list.

You travel throughout the world fi lming. Do you have a favor-ite place to work?

I love traveling and seeing new places. I’ve had the opportunity to see so much of the world through my work. At the end of the day though, there’s nothing like sleeping in your own bed at night.

I heard that you have recently started painting. How can our readers purchase one of your paintings?

You can purchase my artwork at www.studiofrederique.com. A portion of each sale benefi ts an animal charity.

You have been on the cover of many magazines. How does it feel when you see yourself on the stands?

It’s exciting. I’ll look at it and say to myself “that’s pretty cool!”

When you are fi lming a movie or TV series and are away from home for long periods of time, what do you miss the most?

My dogs, and being able to go horseback riding. Oh… and sleep-ing in my own bed!

What was it like working with Cuba Gooding Jr. in Australia in Absolute Deception?

Cuba was a blast to work with. He’s got a ton of energy and is a lot of fun to be around. We had a great time.

How was the experience of being a co-star on two of the most popular television series, Two and A Half Men and CSI NYC?

Both shows were like being part of a family. You spend so much time together, bonds develop very quickly.

Do you have any advice for anyone wanting to be an actor?

Work hard, stay focused, be persistent.

In your latest role you are playing Mary Magdalene in Paul. Can you tell us much about the story?

This movie is a fi ctionalized retelling of the origins of the Chris-tian Church, based on the Acts of the Apostles with Paul of Tarsus (St. Paul) and Mary Magdalene as the main protagonists.
