A Word From

Area 2 Gwinnett County Council of PTA’s

The Area 2 Gwinnett County Council of PTA’s is comprised of

local unit PTA’s from the Collins Hill, Duluth, Mountain View,

Norcross, North Gwinnett, and Peachtree Ridge School clusters

and GSMST. The Executive Board of the Area 2 Gwinnett

County Council of PTA’s would like to thank all of the students

that participated in this year’s Reflections program. We would

also like to thank the parents, teachers, and school

administrators that supported and encouraged these students to

submit entries into this year’s program. All children deserve

opportunities to explore and be involved in the arts. The arts

play a critical role in a student’s success in school and beyond.

This year’s theme of “Heroes Around Me” allowed the students to

express themselves in some of the most wonderful and creative

ways. We would like to give a special thanks to this year’s

Reflections Chair for Area 2, Donnette Sturdivant. She has

dedicated countless hours to ensuring that this year’s program

was successful. We would also like to thank the members of her

committee that volunteered their time and efforts to support her

and Area 2.
