Before assembling a NextGen Living Wall, it is important to check a few things:• Doesthewallyouwanttoplacethesystemonhavesufficientload-bearing

capacity?• Whereareanywaterpipes/electricitycableslocatedinthewall?• Is a water outlet nearby?

Then check the following steps:

Step1: Determinetherequireddimensionsofthewall(widthxheight).Step2: Firstassemblethebottomlayerofthewallattherequiredwidth,

workingfromlefttorightwhenselectingmodules.Youcanchoosefrommodulesof50,75and100cm.Thesemodulesarealways82cmhigh.Selectfrom:6NXGAM50D,6NXGAM75D,6NXGAM99D.

Step3:Havingselectedthebottomlayer,youcannowassemblethetoplay-er/layers.Pleaseremembertoworkfromlefttorightandfrombottomtotop.Furthermore,thewidthofthemodulesmustbeequaltothewidthofthemodulesinthebottomlayer.Afterassembly,themodulesare75cmhigh(thebottomplanterhasa7cmoverlap,seefigureonpage8).Selectfrom:6NXGAM50X,6NXGAM75X,6NXGAM99X.

Step4: Doyourequireanyaccessoriessuchashydro-screens(ifyouselectedhydroculture)orwicks(forsoil-basedplants)and/orassemblyfixtures?Don’tforgettoordersuchitems.Pleasenote:thismanualisapplicableforhydroculturepot13/12orsoil-basedplantspot14cm.

Step5: Youcanordertheselectedmodulesnow.

Theorderingunitsdonotincludeanyassemblyfixtures.Thesemustbepur-chasedseparately.

Step6Onceallgrids,drainhosesandleafcatchersareinplaceandaffixed,youcanhangintheplanters.Alwaysstartwiththebottomrow,withclosedplanters.Tiltandplaceeachplanterinslot4.

If the bottom row of closedplantersisfullyplaced,startplacingtheotherplantersfrombottomtotopandthenfromlefttoright.

Step8 HydrocultureForhydrocultureplants,wedevelopedscreensthatareeasytoclickintothetopofthehydro-pots.Thehydro-screensareeasytocuttosizewithscissorsasrequired.

StepSoil-basedplants 8

Beforeplacingsoil-basedplantsinthetray,pleasecheckifloosesoilisontop.Ifyes,presslightly.Pushthewicksthroughthepotinthesoilfromthebottom,andletitstickoutalittletoensurethatthewicksareabletoabsorbplentyofwater.

Step9

Waterthetoptray.Subsequently,filltheplantersuptothelevelofthedrainpipes.Thisway,youmaximisethewatercycle.
