Where did the

tribe live?Want to know

where the Nez

Perce tribe lived

keep reading to

find out! The Nez

Perce mostly lived

in Idaho, although

they partly lived in

Washington,

Montana and

Oregon. The Nez

Perce had a couple

tribes on the

border of Idaho.

The Nez Perce live

in a big area.

What type of clothing

did they wear?The Nez Perce

have some

interesting

clothing here are

some. The Nez

Perce used shells

to decorate their

clothing. The

color of their

clothes were super

colorful. I learned

that the Nez Perce

have interesting

clothes I might

wear them myself.

What are som

e of the

things they made?

The Nez Perce

made many things

here are some of

them. The Nez

Perce made war

clubs and armor for

the warriors. The

armor was a

wooden helmet, a

collar band, a

rawhide vest and

more armor from

cedar. I think that

they had made

mostly war supplies

and not much else.

What kind of food

did they eat?The Nez Perce had

to hunt for most of

there food. The

woman gathered

berries for each

meal while the

men hunted and

fished. They also

played a hunting

game to get the

children to work.

There meals

sound tasty if I

could I would try

them myself.

this tribe follow? If you want to know

about the Nez

Perce religion read

this! The Nez

Perce thought of

the earth as their

mother. The

spiritual leader of

the tribe at night

would sit by a fire

talking about

problems and

solutions. The Nez

Perce follow

religion that are

very interesting.

What kind of gam

es

did they play? The games the Nez

Perce play are

these. They played

a hunting game

which was a win-

win because they

got something to

do and they got

food. When they

are done a meal

they do a dance to

give thanks for

food. The Nez

Perce games sound

fun so I would like

to try them too.

Were there any

ceremonies this tribe

celebrated?The Nez Perce

celebrate

ceremonies, what

kind, read to find

out. The Nez Perce

celebrated food

ceremonies to give

thanks for food

able to be obtained

close to them so

they can survive.

Even though the

Nez Perce didn’t

celebrate many

ceremonies they

still meant a lot.
