“Flamingos for a Cause” We are very excited about sponsoring the Ronald McDonald House this year as our charity of choice. It is a local charity and is located near the Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida.
The Ronald McDonald House is a home-away-from-home for families of seriously ill children undergoing medical treatment. It helps loved ones remain together as a family in an environment of comfort, compassion, strength and support. There are many other services this charity provides. See their website for more information: https://rmhcswfl.org. We believe you will want to support this worthy charity this year! As our Flock of Flamingos migrates back, they are ready to land on anyone’s lot in Siesta Bay. You can schedule a flock to celebrate any occasion (birthdays, friendships, anniversaries, welcome back, etc.) by simply contacting Mary Cauldwell or Janet Faircloth, and by making a $25.00 contribution. Any cash contribution without a flocking can be given directly to any Board Member listed below. ONE WAY
For Your Safety, a few reminders: Please observe our speed limit of 10 MPH at all times on all streets
Night Riding: Bikes and Golf Carts: Use lights on the front and back of your bike or golf cart if you ride after dark. Red flashers are sold at the Activity Office
Bikes and Golf Carts should observe all road rules the same as cars. All one way and stop signs apply to bikes and golf carts too.
Ride in single file for your safety.
Ride on the right hand side of the road. Walkers should walk facing traffic.
Observe “Do Not Enter” and “One Way” signs.
