What is a Toolbox Meeting?
• A talk or a meeting focusing on a
special topic with regards to Safety
• Open forums where everybody can
express either his concerns or points of view
• Explanations given for a specific job.
TOOLBOX MEETINGS
Why conduct Toolbox Meeting?
• To promote Safety awareness and
practices
• To discuss anomalies/incidents which
occurred in the near past
• To have direct contact with workers at all
levels.
TOOLBOX MEETINGS
For whom?
• Workers
• Foremen
• Everybody involved in working at site level
• Attendance: 20 max. each time
TOOLBOX MEETINGS
When and how often?
• On a daily basis
• Preferably before starting the working day or if applicable at the beginning of the shift
• And each time there is a specific purpose.
