What You Can Expect From These Systems

Like I always told to my subscribers, you have to use sports betting as an investment. This is not a get rich quick scheme. The only way to make money at sports betting is to go slowly and build a solid bankroll. You know, I’m a big fan of mathematical systems and mechanical systems because I always had success with these kind of system and the best thing is that you don’t have to handicap any game at all. This is the beauty of this. Personally, I use the sportsbook and the odds offered by them as a way to make money. I manipulate the odds and apply some simple facts about different kind of sports and it is just like a matter of time before the sportsbook turn my money into profits. So, the systems you are about to learn have nothing to do with any handicapping skill you may have. Sure, it could be good to add some tips to these systems but I designed these systems to be easy to use just by looking at the lines and the odds offered by the sportsbooks. The following systems are designed to bring you a net profit of 20 to over 100 units every NHL season. While the regular bettor will end the season with around 6 units profits assuming he is betting 5 games a week for the next 16 weeks at odds –105 (1.95) and with a 55% winning rate, you will be using the same bankroll as this bettor and you will be able to make 6 times more money than this bettor. More than making more money, you will spend about 30 minutes a week instead of countless hours doing some research about every possible team. So, take your time to read all the ebook and the examples. Try it on paper and make some exercises because even if these systems are very powerful, you will have to do some maths. But don’t worry, I’ll show you step by step how to do it right. Ready ? Let’s go!

First Thing First Ok, like I always do in my ebooks, I want to show you the basic of sports betting. I want to show you all the possible bets you can place at sports betting. The reason why I’m including this in all my ebooks is simply because a lot of people are totally new to all this and they need this information. So, if already know the basic of all the bets, you can go directly to the systems. If not, just take a quick look at the following pages. All right, if you are new to sports betting, here’s a little resume about this lucrative activity. If you’re already familiar with the terminology, you can go directly to the systems. First, as you may know, sports betting is simply to place a bet on the result of a specific game on a specific sport. If your prediction wins, you win your bet. It’s as simple as that! Your bets must be placed at a sportsbook. This could be made live in a casino, by telephone and on the internet. I personally use online sportsbook. Internet sportsbooks are very similar as a sportsbook accessed via telephone or live. Instead of calling in your bet to a bookie, however, you just fill out an online form. In most cases, sportsbooks have the same deposit and withdrawal options as online casinos. Here’s the kind of bet you can place at a sportbook: Straight Bets: A straight bet is the most common bet, where you pick a single side to win. It could be the team to cover the spread or the game total to go over or under. The format of line will vary depending on the sport that you’re betting on. Parlays: A parlays bet is a single wager involving multiple propositions. The bettor must chose the winner of each proposition in order to win the parlay. Payout odds increase as the number of included propositions increases.

6

Page 7: NHL Betting Secrets - Bookie Buster | Sports betting ... you’ll ultimately end up discovering by devouring this rather small and meaty PDF is that... just one of these major strategies

Teasers: A teaser, like parlay, involves multiple propositions. When betting a teaser additional points are either added to the underdog or subtracted from the favourite. Odds are changed in accordance to the number of points the spread is moved and the number of teams combined to form the teaser. Pleasers: Pleaser are similar to a teaser, only you give, versus receive additional points: additional points are either subtracted from the underdog or added to the favourite (e.g., if the regular line on your selection is –4 and you select a pleaser, then your line would be –10). If Bets: If the first game wins, ties, cancels or is suspended, etc., you have action on the remaining team or teams. An IF bet is a combination of 2 – 6 teams. Reverses: If the first game wins, ties, cancels or is suspended, etc, you have action on the remaining team or teams. A reverse is a combination of 2 – 8 selections. Props: A proposition bet is a bet offered with conditions and odds determined by an oddsmaker. These bets are usually exotic bets like quaterback will complete the most touchdown passes, which team will score the last points in a game, or which will complete the longest fieldgoal. Many prop bets are offered at 11-10 odds, but some will be offered at better or worse odds, depending on the bet. Futures: Futures are single wager on the outcome of an event that will be determined sometime in the future. For example, picking the winner of the NFL championship, the Stanley Cup, or the World Series. Round Robins: A Round Robin is a series of parlay-type wager built from all possible groups or the specified round robin group size. The selections can be any combination of sides, over/under, money lines, run lines, or puck lines.

7

Page 8: NHL Betting Secrets - Bookie Buster | Sports betting ... you’ll ultimately end up discovering by devouring this rather small and meaty PDF is that... just one of these major strategies

Currently, up to 9 teams can be grouped by either 2’s or 3’s. Each round robin series has the “Grouped by” number of teams in it and some series can win and other series loss. Each individual series is graded like a parlay. With 4 selections (A, B, C, D) grouped by 2’s then you would have the following groups of 2’s: A&B Half Times: A line on only the first half, or only the second half scoring of a football or basketball game. Totals (over/under): A total wager is a bet on the number of points scored in the game by both teams combined. You can bet on whether the actual number of total points scored is over or under the line posted. The total points scored includes points scored in overtime. You can also bet whether the combined number of points or goals scored by the two teams in the game will be over or under the total set by the oddsmaker. For example, if the total is 32 and you believe that the combined points scored by the two teams will exceed that number, you would bet over 32. Point Spread: The point spread is the number of points that the favored team is expected to win by. For example, say the New York Knicks are favored to beat the LA Clippers by a point spread of 7. That means that if you pick the Knicks to win, they have to win by more than 7 points for you to win your bet. If they win by fewer than 7 points or lose the game, you lose your bet. If they win by exactly 7 points (the point spread), the result is a push or tie. That means that you don't win or lose, your original bet is refunded. Money Lines: The difference between a point spread bet and a money line bet is that there are no points involved. Instead, money odds are wagered on the favorite or underdog. There is a different money line total for either side on a money line bet, a negative side (the favorite) and a positive side (the underdog): Dallas -170 Washington +150 What this means is that Dallas is the favorite and for every $17 you bet on Dallas, you win $10 if they win. For every $10 you bet on Washington, the underdog, you win $15 if they win. By offering different odds for each team the sportsbook is able to balance action on both

8

Page 9: NHL Betting Secrets - Bookie Buster | Sports betting ... you’ll ultimately end up discovering by devouring this rather small and meaty PDF is that... just one of these major strategies

teams. Action Points: When wagering against the point spread, if you think that the spread is low or high you may wager 11/10 for each point you think the spread or total will go over or under. Buy Points: Buy Points means that you can move the pointspread so that you give away less points with the favorite or get more points with the underdog, for both football and basketball. To do this you must pay an extra 10% for each ½ point you buy in your favour. For the NFL and NCAA football, you will pay an additional 20% to buy on or off of 3, or 10% to buy on or off of 7 points - also know as Key Points. Summary: While the goal of this page is to give you an understanding of the basics in sports wagering - you should be sure to read through the rules pages posted on any Internet Sportsbook you may join. Rules do vary and the variance can be the difference between a winning season and a loosing season.

SPORTSBOOKS

When betting on sports, you need a safe and reliable sportsbook to place your bets online. I personally use Canbet (www.canbet.com), pinnaclesports Bet365 (www.bet365.com), sports.com, sportsinteraction.com. These are the sportsbooks with greatest reputation and volume of money. They offer the best odds/lines in any kind of sports. They are safe and reliable. You can withdraw/deposit 24/7. The most important thing is that they are publicly owned company (listed in the stock market). You can also open your account with your choice of currency. Another important fact is that we want to get the best lines as possible to use with our systems. So, concerning the NHL, canbet.com and pinnaclesports.com offer the best money line for the NHL. These are some of the best on the market so we need to use these lines to raise our profits.

Odds Format

There is two ways to view the odds of an event. This could be in USA format or International odds format. US Odds Format When the US odds price is a positive number then the price indicates the value to be won when $100 is invested. Eg. (+115 indicates $115 would be won on a winning $100 bet). When the US odds price is a negative number then the price indicates the value required to be invested to win $100. Eg. (-110 indicates you need to bet $110 to win $100). The order of display for the team names follows the US tradition of naming the away team first. International Odds Format The odds value displayed is the amount returned on winning bets for each $1 invested. Eg. ($1.90 indicates for a $1 winning bet, $1.90 would be returned being the $1 stake and $0.90 winnings.) The order of display for the team name follows the European and Australian convention of naming the home team first.

11

Page 12: NHL Betting Secrets - Bookie Buster | Sports betting ... you’ll ultimately end up discovering by devouring this rather small and meaty PDF is that... just one of these major strategies

Odds Conversion We will always use the International Odds Format to calculate our bets. This is the easiest way. Now, if your sportsbook only offers the USA format, here’s how to turn the USA format into International format.

- When the US odds price is a positive number like +115, you just have to do this:

( US odds / 100 ) + 1 So here, this is ( 115 / 100 ) + 1 = 2.15 So +115 is the same as 2.15 You bet $100 to win $115 You bet $100 and the sportsbook gives you $215 if you win. $215 - $100 = $115 profit. You bet $100 at 2.15. The sportsbook gives you $100 x 2.15. $215 - $100 = $115 profit. - When the US odds price is a negative number like –110, you just have

to do this: ( 100 / US odds ) + 1 So here, this is ( 100 / 110 ) + 1 = 1.91 So –110 is the same as 1.91 You bet $110 to win $100 You bet $110 and the sportsbook gives you $210 if you win. $210 - $110 = $100 profit. You bet $110 at 1.91. The sportsbook gives you $110 x 1.91. $210 - $110 = $100 profit.

System #1

The first system we’re going to work on is a system where we will almost flat bet. This is a system that people who don’t like to place high stakes will be happy to use. In fact, the highest bet or stake you’ll place is 4 units. That’s it. You’ll have to follow a simple pattern and some very simple rules. This system is designed to be used with the highest favorite of the day. This is the team with the lowest odds of the day when you look at the money line. Statistics show that the heavy favorites win around 71% to 74% of the games. And to break even at this odd, you would have to get the odd at 1.40 (-250) at least. This is a big change since the lockout in 2004-2005. There was no season and some changes were made to raise quality of the show for people who attend these sporting events and for people watching the games on TV. For this reason, there’s no more Draw or Tie in these kind of bets and this is why this system works so well right now. For the last season 2005-2006, the system earned a total of 28 units and for 3 months in 2006, the system earned 18 units. Now, I know some of you may say that it’s not a lot of money but remember, there’ s no progression involved and this is the best way to protect your bankroll. So, before showing you how the system works, here’s the results and the odds associated the each specific result for season 2005-2006 in the NHL. Remember, it was done using the heaviest favorite each and everyday.

As you can see, the winning percentage is 73% and the average odds for all these games is 1.39 (-255). At this odd, we need to win 72% to break even so, sure we end up with a small profit of around 2 units. This is of course just by betting the same amount every game. Now, here’s how works the system. The Rules

1. Always wait for a win to start your session

2. When you lose a bet, always wait for another win to start a new session

3. When you start a session, always use the following staking plan of 4

units, 2 units and 1 unit

4. When you have won your 3 bets or stakes, start another session and go back to step 3 starting with 4, 2, 1 unit again

5. Always place your bet or stake on the heaviest favorite (money line)

I recommend a bankroll of at least 100 units to use with this system. So, if you have a bank of $1000, you’re unit value will be $10. Now let’s see how it works with our 2005-2006 results. Let’s look at the first 15 days.

1,36 1,59 1,67 1,42 1,53 1,43 1,47 1,42 1,57 1,43 1,43 1,4 1,53 1,43 1,63 L W W W L W W W L W W W L W L Ok, first we have to wait for a first win which is a signal to start our session. So, on day 1, no bet and we lose. Day 2 No bet and we win. Day 3

18

Page 19: NHL Betting Secrets - Bookie Buster | Sports betting ... you’ll ultimately end up discovering by devouring this rather small and meaty PDF is that... just one of these major strategies

We start our staking plan and we place a bet of 4 units ($40) at odds 1.67. We win. Total +$26.80 Day 4 We place another bet of 2 units ($20). We win at odds 1.42. Profit +$8.40 Day 5 We place another bet at 1 unit ($10) at odds of 1.53. We lose. Profit -$10 Day 6 We have no bet. We wait for another win. Day 7 We won at day 7 so, we place a 4 units bet ($40) at odds 1.47. We win. Profit +$18.80 Day 8 We place a 2 units bet ($20) at odds 1.42. We win. Profit +$8.40. Day 9 We place a bet of 1 unit ($10) at odds of 1.57. We lose. Profit -$10 Day 10 We wait for another win. So, no bet here. Day 11 We start a new session with a bet of 4 units ($40) at odds 1.43. We win. Profit +$17.20 Day 12 We place a bet of 2 units ($20) at odds 1.40. We win. Profit +$8. Day 13

19

Page 20: NHL Betting Secrets - Bookie Buster | Sports betting ... you’ll ultimately end up discovering by devouring this rather small and meaty PDF is that... just one of these major strategies

We place a bet of 1 unit ($10). We lose. Profit -$10. Day 14 We wait for a win Day 15 We place a bet of 4 units ($40) at odds 1.63. We lose. Profit -$40. Total Profit is +$17.60. With a winning rate of 66%, you would have lost 3.1 units with flat betting your $10. To get the maximum results with this system, you must place a bet everyday. This is why you will end the season with a nice profit without risking too much of your bankroll. Again, here’s the rules to follow: The Rules

Good Luck with this system!

System #2

The second system is a system I like to use very often during the NHL season. In fact I like to use underdog with a good value and play with the odds offered by the sportsbooks. You have to remember one thing when it comes to betting on the NHL. The line makers are there to set the line to represent the opinion of the general public. They don’t know who will win the game. They want to make money with the juice. That’s it. They don’t care about who will win or lose. This bring a fact that we can use when it comes to use a system that involves underdogs. I will show you how to select an underdog and win every session you will play. If you add the fact that you can use some of your own skills to select the best games that fit the system, you’ll simply make a killing. So, in this system, we’ll always use odds over 2.27 and I’ll show you how everything works. Since I use this system, I never encountered a losing session. You’ll see how simple it is to earn a steady profit through out the NHL season.

The Progression

For those of you who don’t really know what a martingale is, I will simply show you how this progression works when you use it at sports betting. The power of this system when applied to sports betting is that you can choose your own games and it could be an underdog!

Fact: The Martingale is the most popular betting system in the world. It is also called the “doubling-up system” and can be applied to any even money bet. When playing a casino game, the amount of the first bet is simply doubled after each successive loss, until one wins. After each win, the bet is reduced to its initial value and remains there until the next loss.

When one wins, one wins one unit. For example, an 11-step martingale would be : 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024 = 2047 units. This is a large amount to risk simply to win one unit !

21

Page 22: NHL Betting Secrets - Bookie Buster | Sports betting ... you’ll ultimately end up discovering by devouring this rather small and meaty PDF is that... just one of these major strategies

If you use this strategy for a casino game such as roulette, craps or at sports betting, the danger is that eventually a long string of losses will keep increasing the amount of your bet until the table limit or the betting limit is reached. Yes, The Martingale is the oldest system for casino game. It is also the most dangerous system to lose all your bankroll. When playing an even bet, the casino has always an edge over the player. Let’s look at a roulette table. Let’s see with a French Roulette table. There is 36 numbers plus one 0 for a total of 37 number. But now, for the purpose of this example, we will imagine a roulette table with only 36 numbers and no 0. So, when betting on even chances like red and black, you have 50% of chance to win your bet. Mathematically, in a perfect world, if you were betting on red, you should have 18 red (win) and 18 black (lose). Winning total = 18 units – 18 units = 0 If you use a 5 step martingale, your series would be 1, 2, 4, 8, 16 units. You have to double up your betting amount every time you lose until you reach the 5th step. Let’s do some maths. You have 1 chance out of 32 to lose your series. ½ X ½ X ½ X ½ X ½ = 1/32 That means that you have 31 chances out of 32 to win the series and make 1 unit. So, usually, in a perfect world again, if you play 32 series, you will win 31 of them and make 31 units profit. On the other hand, you will lose only one series and of course all your 5 bets for a total of ( 1+2+4+8+16) = 31 units. Total profit = 31-31 = 0

22

Page 23: NHL Betting Secrets - Bookie Buster | Sports betting ... you’ll ultimately end up discovering by devouring this rather small and meaty PDF is that... just one of these major strategies

Got it ? This was of course without the casino edge! Now, if you ad the 0 or 00, you are GUARANTEE TO LOSE MONEY ON THE LONG RUN WITH A REGULAR MARTINGALE. This is the same thing with the juice at the sportsbook. When you play with odds of 1.90 or –110, you will lose money on the long run with the regular martingale. Ok, now, here’s the good news. I’ll show you how to turn the martingale in your favour and get an edge over the sportsbook. What is a martingale ? I know that you know that. A martingale is a double up system to end a losing series with 1 unit profit. But why are we doubling up our bets ? Simply because in reality, when you use a martingale, you always bet the sum of all your loses plus one unit. Remember the series 1-2-4-8-16 You bet 1 and you lose. You bet the sum of all your loses (1) plus 1. So, the next bet is 2. You bet 2 and you lose. You bet the sum of all your loses (1+2) plus 1. So, the next bet is 4. You bet 4 and you lose. You bet the sum of all your loses (1+2+4) plus 1. So, the next bet is 8. You bet 8 and you lose. You bet the sum of all your loses (1+2+4+8) plus 1. So, the next bet is 16. You bet 16 and you win. Profit 16-(1+2+4+8) = 1 unit. Do you clearly understand how works the martingale ? It is not a double up system, it is a “total lost plus 1” system! If you think about it, you’ll realize that you can use a martingale with any kind of bets and odds. If you want to bet only on a specific team at 1.50 (-200), here how it works. You want to win $10. You place a bet of $20 (10/(1.50-1). You lose.

23

Page 24: NHL Betting Secrets - Bookie Buster | Sports betting ... you’ll ultimately end up discovering by devouring this rather small and meaty PDF is that... just one of these major strategies

Your next bet is $20+$10 = $30 / (1.50-1) = $60. You lose. Your next bet is $20+$60+$10 = $90 / (1.50-1) = $180. Etc… As you can see, your bets will raise very fast and the risk of losing your bankroll is bigger. Well, the beauty of this system is that you will get an edge over the sportsbook when betting on underdogs.

The system

We will use an underdog martingale. Everyday, you’ll pick a good underdog. I’ll show you a simple mechanical way to pick a good underdog in the next section. Day 1 Let’s say the odds are 2.35 and you want to make $10. You will start a your series and bet $7.41. (10/(2.35-1) You lose. Day 2 The odds are 2.60 Your next bet will be the sum of all your loses plus the amount you want to make. In our case it’s $7.41+$10 = $17.41. The next bet will be $17.41/(2.60-1) = $10.88 You lose. Day 3 The odds are 2.20

24

Page 25: NHL Betting Secrets - Bookie Buster | Sports betting ... you’ll ultimately end up discovering by devouring this rather small and meaty PDF is that... just one of these major strategies

Your next bet will be the sum of all your loses plus $10. $7.41+$10.88+$10 = $28.29 The next bet will be $28.29/(2.20-1) = $23.58 You lose. Day 4 The odds are 2.75 Your next bet will be the sum of all your loses plus $10. $7.41+$10.88+$23.58+$10 = $51.87 The next bet will be $51.87/(2.75-1) = $29.64 You win. Total Profit: $51.87 – (the 3 bets lost $7.41+$10.88+$23.58) = +$10. This is only one win out of 4 bets (25% W/R) and you make an easy $10. Also, your highest bet was under $30. With a normal martingale, your 4th bet would have been $80. Here’s the proof: Now, we’ll do some maths because I want you to understand and see how you will make money on the long run. For the purpose of this example, we’ll assume that the odds are always 2.50 (+150) and we always want to make $10. Let’s see what happen on the long run with a 10 step underdog martingale. Remember, if you do your homework, you’ll easily reach a 50% winning rate. Number of chance to lose the 10 steps: 1/1024 ( 0.097% ) ½ X ½ X ½ X ½ X ½ X ½ X ½ X ½ X ½ X ½ Number of chance to win the 10 steps: 1023/1024 ( 99.90% )

25

Page 26: NHL Betting Secrets - Bookie Buster | Sports betting ... you’ll ultimately end up discovering by devouring this rather small and meaty PDF is that... just one of these major strategies

You see that you have less than 1% chance of losing and more than 99% chance of winning. Now let’s put some money on the table. With odds of 2.50 (+150 ), your amount lost will look like this: $6.67+$11.12+$18.53+$30.88+$51.47+$79.12+$138.53+$230.88+$384.80+$641.34 TOTAL = $1593.34 So, if you lose your 10 step underdog martingale, you will lose $1593.34. However, because you have only 1 chance out of 1024 to reach a losing streak of 10 in a row, it means that you will win the other 1023 series. Mathematically, after 1024 series, you will have won 1023 X $10, for a total of $10230 and you will have lost 1 X $1593.34. GRAND TOTAL = $10230 - $1593.40 = +$8636.66 This is why this system works so well over the long run. Personally, I use this system during the hockey (NHL) season. I never had to go over step 7 for the last 2 years. It is very cool. Also, you’ll see that even if you don’t pick 50% winners, this system will works very well. The winning ratio if you win at step #10 is only 10% (1-9) but you still make a profit.

How To Select A Good Underdog

This part of the system is very important. In fact, this is how you will select the best game to use with the progression. So, the best way to select the underdog with the best value is very simple. The most important thing is that you should always look for the underdog where the money line is as close as possible to 2.27 (+127) but at least 2.27 (+127). Never use an underdog with a money line less than 2.27 (+127). This is the easiest mechanical way for selecting the right underdog to use with the system. Now, what to do if there is more than one game at the same odds ?

26

Page 27: NHL Betting Secrets - Bookie Buster | Sports betting ... you’ll ultimately end up discovering by devouring this rather small and meaty PDF is that... just one of these major strategies

Sure the best way to choose the right one is to do some homework. Look at the stats, the last 10 game results, the injuries, back to back games, etc… However, if you don’t want to do some research, try to find what were the opening lines for these games and go with the game where the money line has moved down. This simply means that the underdog are likely to win the game and that is why a lot of people are wagering on this dog so, the sportsbook moves the line to get people to wager on the favorite. Just this simple mechanical rule for selecting the underdog gives a winning rate of over 44% for the 2005-2006 season. Out of 170 bets, 75 were winning bets. Even with flat betting the same amount on each game, we end the season with a net profit of +8.45 units. However, because using the system will allow you to win every session you play, it is a net profit of 75 units. The Rules

1) Select the best daily underdog following the rules or create your own rules to use with the system. You can use the preceding rules and add some of your own skills to choose the best dog. That’s what I do.

2) Start a new series every time you win a game.

3) When you lose, always make the total of your previous loses and ad

the amount you want to win. Usually, you must keep the same amount along the series. If you started with $10, keep adding $10.

4) You should always calculate your next bet by adding all previous loses

plus the amount you want to win and calculate your next bet with the appropriate odds. You only have to take the total you want to make and divide it by (odds – 1). If you want to win $100 at odds 2.45 (+145), you will have to bet $68.97.

5) You can run more than 1 series at the same time if you can afford to

do it. 6) Every time you win, ad your profit to your bankroll and start a new

series with the first amount you want to win.

27

This system has shown a profit of +65 units for the 2005-2006 NHL season. It was done simply by applying the previous rules. Now, just to show you how it works, here’s the result for November 2005. Let’s say we have a $25 target. November Results

System #3

All right. In the next system we’ll use the parlay. So, in case you don’t know what a parlay is (double), here’s exactly what it is. Parlays: A parlays bet is a single wager involving multiple propositions. The bettor must chose the winner of each proposition in order to win the parlay. Payout odds increase as the number of included propositions increases. Ex: If you make a 2 team parlay, betting on the money line, you will bet that team A and team B will win. In order to win your bet, both teams must win the game. How much do you win ? The way to calculate your return is simple. Each odds is multiply by each other and the result is multiply by your stake. So, if both money lines are 1.91 (-110), you will have the following: 1.91 X 1.91 X your stake = 3.648 X your stake. If your stake is $10, your return will be $36.40 minus your stake, you will have a net return of $26.40. It is important to understand the parlay because we’ll use this kind of bet in the system. In fact we will select 2 games that fit our needs and we will place one bet using these 2 games in a very specific way.

30

Page 31: NHL Betting Secrets - Bookie Buster | Sports betting ... you’ll ultimately end up discovering by devouring this rather small and meaty PDF is that... just one of these major strategies

How To Select The 2 Games

Well, the team selection is very easy here. In fact we will simply use the 2 heaviest favorite and we will make a parlay using the money line of both selection. So, it is very easy for you to choose the game because you take the 2 games where the money lines are the lower. Simple as that.

How Much To Bet

Now that we know how to calculate at what odds we will place our bet, we will calculate how much money we will place on each bet. The Target

The target is the amount we want to win. This is not the amount we will bet. The target we’ll be determined by the money management used. You will see in the next section about the money management how to find the right target to use with this system. But now, for the purpose of this example, let’s say that your target (amount you want to win) is $100. So, we have to find how much we have to bet in order to win this $100. Let’s say the odds are 2.27. So, in order to know what our total amount to bet will be, we will simply use the following formula. Total Bet = Target / (1- final odds) So, we have Total Bet = $100 / 1.27 Total Bet = $78.74

31

Page 32: NHL Betting Secrets - Bookie Buster | Sports betting ... you’ll ultimately end up discovering by devouring this rather small and meaty PDF is that... just one of these major strategies

Right now, betting on this parlay, we know that we’ll have to bet $78.14 to have a return of $100.

Let’s do the maths. $78.14 at odds 2.27 gives a return of $177.38 $177.38 minus $78.14 (your stake) = $100 Got it ?

Money Management

Now that you’ve selected the 2 games, you need to know what is your target. Your target will vary almost every day because the power of this money management is that it will use the final odds to determine the target. This way, it will help you to keep your bets as low as possible and at the same time will protect your bankroll. We have adapted this money management because the odds for this parlay can and will vary everyday. When you have 2 very strong favorite, the odds could be like 1.75 for both parlay but usually, the final odds for this parlay involving the 2 heaviest favorite will be around 2.25 and sometimes higher.

Bankroll

I can’t tell you exactly what bankroll you need because the odds are changing everyday. But I think that a bankroll of 250 units would be reasonable.

The Progression We will use a modified martingale. We will start by betting the total amount to win our target. If we win our first bet, we start over again. If we don’t win our first bet, we will start the progression and the next target will always be

32

Page 33: NHL Betting Secrets - Bookie Buster | Sports betting ... you’ll ultimately end up discovering by devouring this rather small and meaty PDF is that... just one of these major strategies

the sum of the first 1 to 5 bets. It will depends on the final odds we have for our parlay. So a win will erase 1 to 5 loses. The rules are simple. When the final odds is from less than 1.71, your target will always be the first number on your paper. When the final odds is from 1.71 to 1.85, the target will always be the sum of the first 2 numbers on your paper. When the final odds is from 1.86 to 2.00, the target will always be the sum of the first 3 numbers on your paper. When the final odds is higher than 2.00, the target will always be the sum of the first 5 numbers on your paper. So, let’s see how it works. We will use the real results from season 2005-2006. Let’s take a look at November 2005.

1,79 2,35 1,8 2,07 1,75 2,25 2,59 1,93 2,55 1,97 2,23 1,64 2,71 2,17 2,04 L W L W L L L W W L W W L L L

2,15 1,69 1,9 1,63 2,41 2,74 2,1 2,12 2,32 2,06 1,71 2,06 2,86 2,25 2,02 L W L L W L W W L W W L L W L Ok, now, the first day, we see that the odds for our parlay is 1.79. In fact the odds for both team (2 heaviest favorites) were 1.28 and 1.40. 1.28 X 1.40 = 1.79 First of all, when you start a session or a series, your first target should always be 1 unit. So, let’s say that our first target is $10. November 1st Write down the first target you want to make. $10 The odds are 1.79 and we want to win $10. So, $10/(1.79-1)= $12.65

33

Page 34: NHL Betting Secrets - Bookie Buster | Sports betting ... you’ll ultimately end up discovering by devouring this rather small and meaty PDF is that... just one of these major strategies

You lose. So, write down the total amount lost of $12.65 next to the $10. You have 10 + 12.65 November 2nd The next odds for our parlay is 2.35. So, following the rules, you can add up to 5 numbers for your new target. In this case we only have 2 numbers. So, the total is 10 + 12.65 = 22.65 This is our new target. In order to win $22.65, you need to bet $16.77 at odds 2.35 You win. You cross out these 2 number on your paper 10 + 12.65 Total profit +$10 November 3rd You start a new session with a target of $10. The odds are 1.80. So, the bet will be $12.50 in order to win $10. We lose. We write down this number next to the first one (our target) 10 + 12.50 November 4th The next odds for our parlay is 2.07. So, following the rules, you can add up to 5 numbers for your new target. In this case we only have 2 numbers. So, the total is 10 + 12.50 = 22.50 This is our new target.

34

Page 35: NHL Betting Secrets - Bookie Buster | Sports betting ... you’ll ultimately end up discovering by devouring this rather small and meaty PDF is that... just one of these major strategies

In order to win $22.50, you need to bet $21.03 at odds 2.07 We win. You cross out these 2 number on your paper 10 + 12.50 Total profit +$10 November 5th The next odds for our parlay is 1.75. So we write down our target 10 The next bet at odds 1.75 is $13.33 We lose We write down this number next to our first target 10 + 13.33 November 6th The next odds for our parlay is 2.25. So, following the rules, you can add up to 5 numbers for your new target. In this case we only have 2 numbers. So, the total is 10 + 13.33 = 23.33 This is our new target. In order to win $23.33, you need to bet $18.66 at odds 2.25 We lose We write down this number next to the other. We have 10 + 13.33 + 23.33 November 7th

35

Page 36: NHL Betting Secrets - Bookie Buster | Sports betting ... you’ll ultimately end up discovering by devouring this rather small and meaty PDF is that... just one of these major strategies

The next odds for our parlay is 2.59. So, following the rules, you can add up to 5 numbers for your new target. In this case we only have 3 numbers. So, the total is 10 + 13.33 + 23.33 = 46.66 This is our new target. In order to win $46.66, you need to bet $29.35 at odds 2.59. We lose We write down this number next to the others. 10 + 13.33 + 23.33 + 46.66 November 8th The next odds for our parlay is 1.93. So, following the rules, you can add up to 3 numbers for your new target. In this case we only have 4 numbers. So, we add the first 3 number here. The total is 10 + 13.33 + 23.33 = 46.66 This is our new target. In order to win $46.66, you need to bet $50.17 at odds 1.93 We win. We cross out the first 3 number on our paper. 10 + 13.33 + 23.33 + 46.66 That leaves us with 46.66 November 9th The next odds for our parlay is 2.55. So, following the rules, you can add up to 5 numbers for your new target. In this case we only have 1 number left. 46.66 is our new target. In order to win $46.66, you need to bet $30.10 at odds 2.55 We win We cross out the last number on our paper and we end the session with $10 profit.

This simple system earned 71 units for 2005-2006 season.

So, that’s it for this system. I would suggest to read the preceding sections a couple of times before placing any bets. Once you understand how everything works, you just have to go to your favorite sportsbook and use the system for real. I know you’ll make money and you’ll have a lot of fun!

37

Page 38: NHL Betting Secrets - Bookie Buster | Sports betting ... you’ll ultimately end up discovering by devouring this rather small and meaty PDF is that... just one of these major strategies

System #4

This system is very easy to use and it is very similar than system #3. So, I won’t spend a lot of time here because as soon as you know how to use it and what to use, you’ll be able to place your bets right away. In fact we’ll continue to work with odds higher than 2.00. We have found when testing this system that one of the best way to use it was to use a parlay on the heaviest favorite and the over or under total of the same game. These kind of bets hit around 35% of the time and the average odds is around 2.79. It is easy to resist a long losing streak because that odds are very high and sometime as high as over 3.00.

The progression We will simply use the progression of system #2 and the same rules apply. For the 2005-2006 season, the heaviest favorite/Over earned 54 units and the heaviest favorite / under earned 64 units. So, if you can afford to run 2 sessions at the same time, my advice would be to do it. Maybe it is safer to use smaller unit for both sessions but the results is just better.

38

Page 39: NHL Betting Secrets - Bookie Buster | Sports betting ... you’ll ultimately end up discovering by devouring this rather small and meaty PDF is that... just one of these major strategies

System #5

System #5 is a variation of system #4. We will simply use the fact that the odds are very high and we will be able to make even more money. This system will allow you to earn one unit for each betting day. You will however need a bigger bankroll just to be sure you can resist a long losing streak but with a bankroll of 300 units, you should be able to earned around 170 units every hockey season. This system involves higher risk but the reward is just amazing. Later, I’ll show you how to remove all these risk by using the same approach that the pros use.

The Progression

Ok, here we still use the same progression as system #2 but with a small modification. If you don’t remember the progression, please take a moment to refresh your mind and go back take a look at system #2. What we will do is simple. Every time we make a bet and we calculate our target, we will add not only our target but we will add one unit for each bet lost. This way, when we win a session, we make a profit which include a unit for each losing bet. So, the best way to learn this system is to go directly to a real example. Let’s take a look at the numbers for the first month of the 2005-2006 season, October.

2,6 3,03 3,18 2,71 2,92 2,74 2,8 2,71 3 2,74 2,74 2,67 2,92 2,74 3,1 2,71L W W L L L W W L L L W L L L W

These numbers represent the odds for the daily parlay (Heaviest Favorite / Under total) and the result. We’ll assume that our target is $10. So, let’s take a look at the first day. Day 1 Write down your first target which is $10 $10 Now, the odds are 2.6. So we need to place a bet of $6.25 in order to win our $10. We lose. Write down this number next to the other number on our paper. 10 + 6.25 Day 2 Now, the next target will be the sum of all the numbers we have written down plus one unit ($10). This unit is for the number of loses we have so far in this session. So, one unit is the number here. The new target we’ll be 10 + 6.25 + 10 = 26.25 The odds for our parlay is 3.03. So we have to bet $12.93 in order to win our target. We win. Result ? 12.93 X 3.03 = 39.18 – 12.93 – 6.25 = +20 2 days of betting, 2 units profit. Day 3 The new target is $10 again and the odds is 3.18 So, we write down this number.

40

Page 41: NHL Betting Secrets - Bookie Buster | Sports betting ... you’ll ultimately end up discovering by devouring this rather small and meaty PDF is that... just one of these major strategies

10 We now have to bet $4.58 in order to win $10. We win. Result: +$10 Day 4 The new target is $10 again and the odds is 2.71 So, we write down this number. 10 We now have to bet $5.85 in order to win $10. We lose. We write down this number next to the other 10 + 5.85 Day 5 Now, the next target will be the sum of all the numbers we have written down plus one unit ($10). This unit is for the number of loses we have so far in this session. So, one unit is the number here. The new target we’ll be 10 + 5.85 + 10 = 25.85 The odds for our parlay is 2.92. So we have to bet $13.46 in order to win our target. We lose Write down this number next to the other numbers on our paper. 10 + 5.85 + 13.46

41

Page 42: NHL Betting Secrets - Bookie Buster | Sports betting ... you’ll ultimately end up discovering by devouring this rather small and meaty PDF is that... just one of these major strategies

Day 6 Now, the next target will be the sum of all the numbers we have written down plus two (2) units ($20). These units are for the number of loses we have so far in this session. So, two units is the number here. The new target we’ll be 10 + 5.85 + 13.86 + 20 = 49.71 The odds for our parlay is 2.74. So we have to bet $28.57 in order to win our target. We lose Write down this number next to the other numbers on our paper. 10 + 5.85 + 13.46 + 28.57 Day 7 Now, the next target will be the sum of all the numbers we have written down plus two (3) units ($30). These units are for the number of loses we have so far in this session. So, three units is the number here. The new target we’ll be 10 + 5.85 + 13.86 + 28.57 + 30 = 88.28 The odds for our parlay is 2.8. So we have to bet $49.04 in order to win our target. We win Result ? 49.04 X 2.8 = 137.31 – 49.04 – 5.85 – 13.86 – 28.57 = +40 4 days of betting and +4 units profit. As you can see, even with a final result of 3 wins out of 7 bets, we end with a total profit of + $70 which is 1 unit for each day. This is a very good system to reach over 150 units every NHL season. Remember that if you could add some handicapping skills, you will be able to raise your winning rate and close your session faster.

Tricks From The Pros (System 5.5) Ok, now here’s how the pros make some really good money with system #5. What we are looking for is to run multiple sessions at the same time. I would say that running at least 10 sessions at the same time would be ok. Some people run more that 10 sessions up to 20 sessions at the same time. Every session will use his own system. What I mean here is that each system will use a different approach to select the teams or the bets. Here, you can choose from almost any combination of odds or parlay where the odds is at least 2.50. The choice is really up to you but the selection method must be different. Here’s what I mean. For session one, you can make a parlay with the heaviest favorite (money line) and the second heaviest favorite (money line) Session 2 could be the heaviest favorite (money line) with the underdog of the second heaviest favorite (money line) Session 3 could be the heaviest favorite (money line) with the puck line of the second heaviest favorite. Session 4 could be the heaviest favorite (puck line) with the over total of the same game. Session 5 could be the heaviest favorite (puck line) with the under total of the same game. And so on… When you do this kind of thing, you will spread the risk because when a session goes bad, some others will go very well and the most important thing is that the odds are all over 2.00 or 2.50. So, you need less than 50% winning rate to make money. You will have some good days and some very good days. When you experience a losing streak on a specific session, some others will make you money and you will still come ahead. Sometimes more, sometimes less.

43

Page 44: NHL Betting Secrets - Bookie Buster | Sports betting ... you’ll ultimately end up discovering by devouring this rather small and meaty PDF is that... just one of these major strategies

If one of your session is going to high, you can also use the split bet technique that we’ll see in the next system. Use smaller stakes like a target of $1 or $2 for each session. Go slowly and make a steady profit. You need to run a progression for each one of these sessions separately at the same time. This is the secret. Use the progression of system 5. You will end some sessions everyday and over a couple of days, the profit will start to grow very fast. My advice would be to use this system on paper for a couple of weeks and when you understand how it works, go for real with small stakes at the beginning and you’ll see that it is very easy to make money betting on the NHL.

44

System #6 (Bonus)

This system is used by a lot of people in Europe and in North America. A lot of friends of mine use this system with a lot of success every hockey season. I also use this system every year since 5 years and I always have a lot of success. In the NHL, every team will play 82 games in the regular season just like in the NBA. So, we are going to use this fact. You will be able to place more than one bets a day if you want and you will have a lot of action everyday.

What we are going to do is very simple. We will run a different series of bet for each team you would like to use. By doing this, we will try to make from 6 to 12 units for every team you choose for the entire season (82 games). As soon as you have made 6-12 units with a team, you will stop betting on this team. This could happen at the beginning of the season in the middle or at the end of the season. So, If you decide to use all 30 teams and you are going for 6 units for each team, you will make a net profit of 90 units profits. You can also choose to pick only the 10 best teams and go for 12 units for each team. It is really up to you. I’ll show you how we will work all this later. You won’t have to run a session for every team at the same time. I’ll show you a simple filter to know when to start betting on a team and when to stop.

45

Page 46: NHL Betting Secrets - Bookie Buster | Sports betting ... you’ll ultimately end up discovering by devouring this rather small and meaty PDF is that... just one of these major strategies

Over / Under Total

In our betting, we will use the over / under total. We will never use the money line. So, if you don’t know what the over / under total is, just go back to the preceding pages to learn what this kind of bet works. Over / Under total is important because the goal of the line makers is to keep the average around 50% for every team. This way, even if you would like to go for a long winning streak by betting the over side of a team for the entire season, you would end by losing money. Sure this is their goal but this isn’t always the reality. However, you will rarely see a very long sequence of over or under for a team. This is the fact that we will use.

46

Page 47: NHL Betting Secrets - Bookie Buster | Sports betting ... you’ll ultimately end up discovering by devouring this rather small and meaty PDF is that... just one of these major strategies

How To Place The Bets

For some of you, betting on the over / under total is no secret. However, for some people that are new to the sports betting world, it is important that they should know how to place the bets. Placing a bet on the over / undertotal is very easy. This is the kind of bets we will use for this system. As the system use the over / under total of each team in order to perform 6 to 12 winning series for each team, we will need to bet on the over / under total everyday. Here’s will look the line at a sportsbook.

Let’s take a look at the decimal format as this is the format we will use for the system. So as you can see, you can place a bet on the puck line, the money line and the over / under total. However, we won’t use any puck line here. Let’s say that you have to place a bet on Atlanta for over. You will have to place the bet on the over total 5.5 at odds 2.00. So, in order for you to win your bet, the total score for this game should be over 5.5. This is the Over / Under total. If the total is under 5.5, you lose the bet. This is the same thing for the under total.

The Series OK, now I told you that we would use a different betting series for each and every team. So, now it’s time to learn how to work out the series. This is probably the most important thing to master. So, you’ll need to practice a bit before placing real bets.

48

Page 49: NHL Betting Secrets - Bookie Buster | Sports betting ... you’ll ultimately end up discovering by devouring this rather small and meaty PDF is that... just one of these major strategies

The next progression is probably my favorite one because I always had a lot of success with it. It is very powerful and you only need to 28% of your bet in order to make a profits. Even if you encounter a very bad run, you can end the series with a profit and that’s what I like. Sure sometime it will take 5-6 game to make a profit but this is sports betting. This is an investment. Not a get rich program. So, here’s how the progression works:

We will use a modified martingale. We will start by betting the amount to win our target. We will be doing this until a win. If we win our first bet, we start over again. If we don’t win our first bet, we will bet the sum of the first 3 bets. So a win will erase 3 loses.

Every time we lose, we keep betting for the same target. Only when we win, we will bet the sum of the first 3 bets (remaining bets).

With this system, when we lose, we go one step backwards, and when we win we go 3 steps ahead.

The bet size will be calculated with the odds offer by the bookmakers. The formula is: B = T / (IT-1) B = Amount to bet T= Target (amount you want to win) IT= International odds Let’s say you want to bet $50 at 2.20. $50 / (2.20-1) = $50 / 1.20 =

$41.66 You need to bet $41.66 to win $50. $41.66 X 2.20 = $91.66 – $41.66 = $50 Let’s see what happen with a 37.5% winning rate and a target of $50.

L-L-L-W-L-L-W-W Here’s how it works:

49

Page 50: NHL Betting Secrets - Bookie Buster | Sports betting ... you’ll ultimately end up discovering by devouring this rather small and meaty PDF is that... just one of these major strategies

Day 1

Write down your target of $50 you want to make. The odds are 1.91 You bet $54.95 to win $50 You lose. Write down the $54.95 bet next to the $50 you had written down. It should look like this. $50 + $54.95

Day 2

The odds are 2.15 When you lose, your target still the same. So, here it’s $50 again. Your next bet is TARGET / (2.15 – 1). So it’s $50 / 1.15 = $43.48 You should bet $43.48 You lose. Write down the $43.48 bet next to the previous two bets. Now it looks like this. $50 + $54.95 + $43.48

Day 3

50

Page 51: NHL Betting Secrets - Bookie Buster | Sports betting ... you’ll ultimately end up discovering by devouring this rather small and meaty PDF is that... just one of these major strategies

The odds are 1.83 Our target is the same until a win. Your next bet is TARGET / (1.83 – 1). So it’s $50.00 / 0.83 = $60.24 You should bet $60.24 You lose. Write down the $60.24 bet next to the previous three bets. Now it looks like this. $50 + $54.95 + $43.48 + $60.24

Day 4

The odds are 2.10 Your next bet is TARGET / (2.10 – 1). So it’s $50.00 / 1.10 = $45.45 You should bet $45.45 You win. Cross out the first target you have written down. You do this (cross out the target) only after a win. That leaves you with the $54.95 bet, the $43.48 bet and the $60.24 bet. Now it looks like this. $50 + $54.95 + $43.48 + $60.24

Day 5 The odds are 1.99 After the first win, the new target is the sum of the first three numbers we have written down. In our case we have $54.95, $43.48 and $60.24. So, our next target is $158.67. The next bet is TARGET / (1.99 – 1). So in our case it’s $158.67 / 0.99 = $160.27

51

Page 52: NHL Betting Secrets - Bookie Buster | Sports betting ... you’ll ultimately end up discovering by devouring this rather small and meaty PDF is that... just one of these major strategies

Your next bet should be $160.27 You lose. Write down this bet next to the previous three bets. It looks like this. $54.95 + $43.48 + $60.24 + $160.27

Day 6

The odds are 1.75 Your next bet is the TARGET / (1.75 – 1). So it’s $158.67 / 0.75 = $211.56 Your bet should be $211.56 You lose. Write down this bet next to the previous four bets. $54.95 + $43.48 + $60.24 + $160.27 + $211.56

Day 7

The odds are 2.45 Your next bet is the TARGET / (2.45 – 1). So it’s $158.67 / 1.45 = $109.43. Your bet should be $109.43. You win. Cross out the first three bets (OUR TARGET). That leaves us with… $54.95 + $43.48 + $60.24 + $160.27 + $211.56

52

Page 53: NHL Betting Secrets - Bookie Buster | Sports betting ... you’ll ultimately end up discovering by devouring this rather small and meaty PDF is that... just one of these major strategies

Day 8 The odds are 1.90 Your next target the sum of the two remaining bets / (1.90 – 1). Since we don’t have 3 numbers written down, we bet on only the sum of the two remaining bets. So it’s $371.83 / 0.90 = $413.14 You should bet $413.14 You win. The session is over. You have recovered from all your loses and made a $50 profit. You won 3 bets and lost 5 bets. Winning rate: 37.5% As you can see, every win takes us 3 steps ahead towards our goal of winning the session and every loss is only 1 step backwards. The session ends when there are no more numbers written down, when they are all crossed out. The rule is very simple. After we had the first win, we write down the bet we lose next to all the numbers we have written and we always bet on the sum of the three numbers after our first win. We’re still betting the same target until a win.

53

Page 54: NHL Betting Secrets - Bookie Buster | Sports betting ... you’ll ultimately end up discovering by devouring this rather small and meaty PDF is that... just one of these major strategies

Aggressive Mode With the aggressive mode, you don’t need to wait until a win to start the progression. If you start a session and you lose the first bet, you start to add the numbers you written down right away. So, if you lose your first bet, your next target becomes $50 + $54.95 = $104.95. But you never add more than 3 numbers at the time. WE WILL USE THE AGGRESSIVE MODE WITH THIS SYSTEM

54

Page 55: NHL Betting Secrets - Bookie Buster | Sports betting ... you’ll ultimately end up discovering by devouring this rather small and meaty PDF is that... just one of these major strategies

Hit and Run The hit and run is part of some system that you can play in a casino. The concept is very simple. You go to the table, you use a system and as soon as you have reach a very low target of let’s say, 3-5 units profit, you leave the table. This way you protect your bankroll from bad losing streaks. These streaks can occur when you’re not at the table but this way it doesn’t affect your bankroll. This is what could be done in our NHL system. The best way to do it is to set a goal from 6-12 units for every team that will fit the system. The beauty of this NHL system is that we will probably be able to use all 30 teams over the entire season because 82 games are played every season. A realistic result of 180 units should be easy to achieve.

55

Page 56: NHL Betting Secrets - Bookie Buster | Sports betting ... you’ll ultimately end up discovering by devouring this rather small and meaty PDF is that... just one of these major strategies

How to select a team

You have to understand that the goal of the line makers is to have every team with an over / under ratio of 50% for each one and as for the money line, their goal is to have the winning percentage of every team to be in phase with their average odds. This is there goal. So, in our system we are going to use the over / under total. THE RULES For every team that you would like to use, you will need to study their past results looking at their over / under results. What you will look is for a team to be under 50% for the over total or under total. Both over and under will be used over the entire season. This will be the signal to start betting on a team. Example: After 20 games, a team is 12 over and 8 under . So, they are over 50% for the over total but they are under 50% for the under total. So, for this team, you don’t use them for the over total series but you will use them for the under total series. You will start a series for this team using the progression that I showed you. You will simply have to bet the over or under total for this team every game they play until you make one unit profits. The goal of this system will be to make from 3 to 6 units profits for each possibilities which are over or under total. And you will be able to do it for each team in the league. So, this is a total of 6 units for each team and you should be able to end the season with +180 units at least.

How it works

Ok, the best way to understand is to take a look at a real example. First let’s take a look a real results for November 2006. Here’s the results for Anaheim.

OK, let’s say that we want to go with the under total for Anaheim first. So, as you can see, on November 1st, the total of their game was over. Sure we didn’t place any bet here because we are starting the system and we have to wait for the signal. We’ll also assume that the odds are always 1.93 (-107). So, after the first day, Anaheim fits the system for the under total. They are 0 under and 1 over. So we start the progression. So we write down $10

57

Page 58: NHL Betting Secrets - Bookie Buster | Sports betting ... you’ll ultimately end up discovering by devouring this rather small and meaty PDF is that... just one of these major strategies

$10 Our bet in order to win $10 will be $10.75 ( $10 / 0.93) On November 3th, we place our bet on under total. We lose this bet. We write down the amount lost next to the other number on our paper. So we have: 10 + 10.75 November 6th, Anaheim is 0 under and 2 over total. They still fit the system as for the under system and we will place a bet on the under total. Our target will be the sum of our first 2 numbers which is 10 + 10.75 = $20.75. Our bet will be 20.75 / 0.93 = 22.31 We win because the total is under. We cross out all our numbers and we end with a profit of $10. We are ready to start another session. November 9th, Anaheim is 2 over and 1 under total. So, as for the under system, they are at 33%. They fit the system again so we will place our next bet on the under total for Anaheim. Our target is back to $10 because we won our session on the previous day. In order to win our target of $10, we have to place a bet of $10.75. We lose our bet as the total goes over. We write down this bet next to the target we have already written down on our paper. 10 + 10.75 November 10th, we still have to place a bet on the under total because Anaheim is 1-3 as for the over/under total which represent 25%. Our new target will be the sum of our 2 numbers. Target is 20.75.

58

Page 59: NHL Betting Secrets - Bookie Buster | Sports betting ... you’ll ultimately end up discovering by devouring this rather small and meaty PDF is that... just one of these major strategies

We place a bet of $22.31 on the under total. We win as the total goes under. We cross out all our number on our paper and we end with a profit of $10. November 12th, Anaheim is 2-3 (40%) as for the under total. So, they still fit the system and we can start a new session with a target of $10. We place our bet of $10.75 on the under total. We win. We make a $10 profit here again. November 15th, Anaheim are 3-3 as for the over/under total. So, this is 50% for each of them. As you can see, they don’t fit the system for both under and over total. There is no bet here. We have to wait for another result to start the system again.

Tips From The Pros The trick when it comes to this kind of system is to use many session or many teams at the same time. You just have to use a smaller target on each session. I would recommend to use at least 10 sessions at the same time. This is the secret. You have to understand one thing. You have enough time over the entire season to run 1 session for the under and over total of every team. So, considering that there is 30 teams in the NHL, you should be able to make at least 3 units for the under total and 3 units for the over total of each and every team. This is a total of 6 units for each team in the NHL. This is a real profit of 180 units for the entire season. And more, chances are that you will close all these session before half of the season in February. This is very cool!

What to do with a bad streak

Ok, now you must be asking yourself what to do if you experience a long losing streak and that your bets are going too high. We’ll this is a trick that works very well when you use many sessions at the same time. The fact is when you use more than one session, let’s say 5 to 10 at the same time, chances are that if one session is going very bad, some others will probably go very well. So, what you have to do is simply split the amount lost in a specific session within the remaining sessions. So, this way, you will spread your loses within 5 or more sessions and you will be able to keep your target and bets lower and than win back these loses over the long run. Ex. Let’s say you run 5 sessions and your sessions looks like this:

1. 10

2. 10 + 10.75 3. 10 4. 10+10.75 5. 10+10.75+22.31+46.30+46.30+46.30+46.30+46.30

Now the total for session #5 is $274.56. So, you divide 274.56 / 5 and you add $54.91 for each session. So, your new sessions will look like this

1. 10+54.91 2. 10 + 10.75+54.91 3. 10+54.91 4. 10+10.75+54.91 5. 54.91

This can be very useful.

System #7 (Bonus 2) This system is a system we had a lot of fun to test and use since season 2005-2006. And again this year, we made really good money with it until December 2006. This system use a very low and simple progression and we will use the fact that usually, the daily heaviest favourite doesn’t lose 2 in a row very often. In fact, this system has the potential to bring around 30 units profit every season. This is what we made last year and this year so far (until December 31st), 15 units were made. You’ll see that I’ll be short and to the point. The rules:

- You will have to place a bet on the heaviest favourite everyday. - You will place a bet in order to win one unit profit. - The odds for this favourite must be at least 1.30 (-325).

- You will use a 2 step progression. That’s it.

- When you lose the first bet, you will try to recover this amount lost on

the next bet.

- You will have to recover the amount lost only. You do not add a target or an amount you want to win.

- When you lose 2 bets in a row, you simply accept the lose and you

start a new progression.

- When you win, you simply start a new session trying to win one unit.

A real Example

Let’s take a look at the first week in the NHL for the season 2005-2006.

1,36 1,59 1,67 1,42 1,53 1,43 1,47L W W W L W W So, here’s how it work. We’ll assume that a unit is $10. Day 1 On the first day, you have to place a bet in order to win one unit. So, we know that the odds is 1.36. So you have to place a bet of $27.77 ($10 / 0.36) in order to win $10. You lose. Day 2 Following the rules, you have now to win back your loses from day one. So, to do it, you have to place a bet at odds 1.59 to win the amount of $27.77. The next bet will be $47.06 (27.77 / 0.59) You win. You make no profit but you have recover your loses. Day 3 You start a new session and you place a bet of $14.93 at odds 1.67 to win $10. You win. You make a profit of $10. Day 4 You start a new session and you place a bet of $23.81 at odds 1.42 in order to win $10.

63

Page 64: NHL Betting Secrets - Bookie Buster | Sports betting ... you’ll ultimately end up discovering by devouring this rather small and meaty PDF is that... just one of these major strategies

You win. You make a profit of $10. Day 5 You start a new session and you place a bet of $18.87 at odds 1.53 to win $10. You lose. Day 6 You have now to recover your bet of $18.87. So, you will place a bet of $43.88 at odds 1.43 to win your $18.87. You win. You end the session and you have recover your lose of $18.77. You start a new session. Day 7 You start a new session and you place a bet of $21.27 to win $10. You win. You make another $10 profit. You end the week with a profit of $30. A bankroll of at least 100 units should be use for this system. You can also combine this system with any other system. You just have to use a small part of your bankroll for this specific system. Good luck with this system!

In order to have great success with these systems, my advise would be to read these systems a few times and select the system that interest you. Try it out on paper just to see how it goes and when you’re comfortable with, jump into the real world! Good luck! Frank Belanger
