What Happens in 2014

Agreement ends– No central renewal of EWA (no central budget holder);– Budget responsibility devolved

Central Body Extension – term June 2016 for some central bodies & LSPs

Each NHS Trust or associated body must:– Establish use of Oracle in all locally managed systems– E.g. finance, maternity, cancer, ISV apps– Purchase licenses & support for all Oracle use

Commercial Offer Highly attractive commercial offer 71.2% discount off list

– Extension of central government agreement– NHS currently excluded

Covers perpetualisation purchase of technology licenses from EWA
