The Glenlivet Founder’s Reserve 5The Glenlivet Founders Reserve is a unique tribute to George Smiths vision to create the definitive smooth Speyside malt. At its heart is the perfectly balanced, smooth fruity flavour The Glenlivet is renowned for. It is skilfully complemented with a creaminess and sweetness from the addition of First Fill American oak casks.

Macallan Double Cask Gold 5The Macallan Gold is burnished gold in colour with lemon citrus, then orange peel and an interlacing sweetness that softens but doesn’t eliminate the zest. A quiet note of vanilla is followed by dark chocolate with lingering floral and light oak notes. Citrus and boiled sweets rule the palate, along with hints of ginger and cinnamon while soft oak tones reveal toasted apples.

Glen Garioch 12 Year Old 5From one of the oldest operating distilleries in Scotland—and its most easterly— Glen Garioch (pronounced Geery in the ancient Doric dialect still spoken in these parts) has been making its mighty malt in the quaint and historic market town of Oldmeldrum, near Aberdeen in North East Scotland, ever since 1797. Shielded from the world’s prying eyes, deep in the fertile ‘Granary of Aberdeenshire’, and only ever produced in small, precious batches, Glen Garioch is a rare find indeed, but warmly appreciated by those who like a hearty Highland malt, non chill-filtered as nature intended, with a wholesome maltiness, honeyed sweetness and delicious creamy texture to savour.

Glenkinchie 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisk 5.5Glenkinchie is from one of the last surviving Lowland distilleries in Scotland. Glenkinchie is perfect as an aperitif, or at the start of a meal due to it’s fragrant, light and appetising body and taste. It has a very aromatic flowery nose and is sweet and creamy on the palate. Best Served neat or on the rocks.

Dalwhinnie 15 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky 6Dalwhinnie is produced in the highest working distillery in Scotland at an altitude of 1,173ft, with stream water from mountain lochs. It is a perfect Highland Single Malt Scotch whisky with a marriage of Speyside heather-honey sweetness and lowland intensity. The clean, heather flavours call for a neat serve, and perhaps a little still water.

The Balvenie Doublewood 12 Year Old 6The Balvenie Double Wood is a 12 Year Old single malt which gains its distinctive character from being matured in two wood types. Over the period of maturation it is transferred from a traditional oak whisky cask to a first fill European oak sherry cask. Each stage lends different qualities to the resulting single malt. The traditional casks soften and add character, whilst the sherry wood brings depth and fullness of flavour.

Glenfiddich 12 Year Old Special Reserve 6Carefully matured in the finest American bourbon and Spanish sherry oak casks for at least 12 years. Glenfiddich Special Reserve is married and mellowed in oak for complete harmony of aroma and flavour. A single malt Scotch whisky with distinctive fresh pear, creamy with subtle oak flavours and a long smooth and mellow finish.

Laphroaig 10 Year Old 6The original Laphroaig, distilled the same way today as when Ian Hunter invented it over 75 years ago. In making Laphroaig, malted barley is dried over a peat fire. The smoke from this peat, found only on Islay, gives Laphroaig its particularly rich flavour. A bold, smoky taste, followed by a hint of seaweed and a surprising sweetness.

Lagavulin 16 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky 7Lagavulin is one of the smokiest and most intense whiskies in the world. It is an ‘essential’ Scotch Whisky that any connoisseur or enthusiast must have in their collection; one of the world’s favourite Malt Whiskies. Best enjoyed from a traditional whisky glass, neat or with a little still water
