Graphing with Excel 2007

IntroductionExcel 2007 is a very powerful tool. It can be

used to make graphs and charts along with spreadsheets and other important data collection. In this tutorial, you will learn how to make two different kinds of graphs: line graphs and bar graphs.

BeginningI input four students with four different subject

categories (Quiz 1-4)

With your mouse, you left click and highlight the data you want in your graph.

SecondNow that your data is selected, click the Insert

Tab and choose the Bar Graph Icon on the top.

When you click on the bar graph icon, you have an array of bar graphs to choose from. I selected the 2-dimensional.

Line GraphThe directions for a line graph are the same

except instead of bar graph. You choose line graph.

Line GraphJust like when you clicked on bar graph, an

array of line graphs will appear. I chose the line graph that allows you to check the progress of the students.
