This is the lot where my house used to be before hurricane floyd.

The home that stood here before the flood during hurricane floyd was my old house. The land is now owned by the government, and no one can build on it.

I lived here when I was less than four feet off the ground. And two years old.

This is the old cotton mill of rocky mount

Address: NC 43 and NC 48 Rocky Mount , North Carolina

Cotton and textiles were an important part of North Carolina’s economy in the early 1900’s.

At the reservoir behind the mill in this image, I spent two hours fishing and caught absolutely nothing. Despite my dad’s best efforts.

This is one of the oldest Roman Catholic Churches in Rocky Mount

This church was built on the site of one of the oldest schools in Rocky Mount. In fact, one of the previous mayors of Rocky Mount went to school here.

I went to school here up until about three years ago. I’m not allowed to say why I left.
