SINGAPORE, 3FEBRUARY 2016 – Nickelodeon today revealed the nominationsfor the 2016Kids’ ChoiceAwards, the ultimate fan celebration of the best ofeverything kids love in pop culture. The nominees reflectthe entertainmentthat audiences see, play, listen to and read in droves, from movies like StarWars: TheForce Awakens, Jurassic World and Pitch Perfect 2,to a host of television shows, music, gaming, booksand more. Hosted by Country musicsuperstar and coach panelist on NBC’s TheVoice Blake Shelton,Nickelodeon’s 2016Kids’ Choice Awards returns to The “Fabulous” Forum in Inglewood, California. Theshow premieres on Monday, 14 March at 10.30am (TH/WIB) and11.30am (HK/PH/SG). It repeats onthesame day at 5pm (TH/WIB) and 6pm (HK/PH/SG).

· Three new categories added tothis year’s show: Favorite Collaboration, Favorite Cooking Show, andFavoriteAsian Sports Star.
· Stiff competition ignites the televisioncategories as last year’s favorite ModernFamily finds itself neck-and-neck with TheBig Bang Theory, garnering four nominations each.
· The music categories, which span an eclecticmix of genres, finds vocal powerhouse Adele against JustinBieber and EdSheeran for “Favorite Song of the Year.” TaylorSwift, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez areall tied with three nominations each,while artists Drake, The Weeknd and Kendrick Lamar follow closelybehind withtwo.
