Nifty opened at 10704. Index had made a high of 10827 yesterday and closed at

10618. The major players of the market, FII & PRO combined have a net sell

position of 175642 contracts. Nifty trend indicates “Sell” as on 15th July 2020. The market is in down-trend and is likely to continue for the next few days.

In the sector performance, among the Major sectors, IT, FMCG and Power have

made an increment by 2.86%, 1.34% and 0.12% respectively. As far as the Minor sectors are concerned, Telecom has shown growth by 1.12%.

On the global front, the US Index, S&P 500 (futures) opened at 3217 today, which

is almost at its yesterday’s close. The Index had made a high of 3233 yesterday.

Hong Kong Benchmark Index, Hang Seng opened at 25576 today. Yesterday,

Index had made a high of 25888 and closed at 25481. The Japan Benchmark

Index, Nikkei opened at 22903 today.
