Elliever Wiesel was born to a strict Jewish familyin Romania in September of 1928. In 1944 Elie’slife was disrupted by Nazi invasion and deportation. Having survived Auschwitz, Buna, Buchenwald and Gleiwitz, Wiesel has recounted stories like his own in his thiry-six books. Night is his autobiography followed closely by Dawn and Day.
