    Hands-OnPermit Application and Emission Statement submittals via RADIUS are mandatory! All classes will utilitze the NEW RADIUS Version 4.0!

    This one-day workshop provides practical, step-by-step instruction in the basic elements of RADIUS for emission statement reporting. Using a computer and actual facility emission statement data, you will gain hands-on experience with the NJDEPs software and online resources. Students will also be able to work on their own emission statement bring your prior year RADIUS le on a ash drive.

    At the end of this session, you will be able to:

    Create a new emission statement in RADIUS New facility Existing facility, new to emission statement Has submitted emission statement before

    Prepare all sections of the emission statement in RADIUS Facility Information Forms Emission Reporting Form

    Submit an emission statement to NJDEP USPS, FedEx, UPS, or other private courier service Through the NJ Portal (on-line submission)

    Use time-saving tips to streamline the emission reporting process

    PREREQUISITEThis course will cover the preparation of an Emission Statement using RADIUS. Some basic knowledge of personal computers and Windows operating system is recommended. Prior knowledge of air permitting and emission statement concepts is recommended, although not required.

    This one-day program has been designed to provide you with the necessary tools to prepare e ective permit applications correctly and e ciently. Through hands-on use of the RADIUS application and the DEP-Online web site, in combination with expert instruction, visual presentations and handouts, students will learn both the basic and advanced features of these tools. The course will use an extensive array of case studies to illustrate various permitting scenarios.

    At the end of this session, you will be able to:

    In this one-day seminar, instructors will present the States approach to Vapor Intrusion as outlined in the Vapor Intrusion Technical (VIT) Guidance document. The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEPs) VIT Guidance document provides assistance in the evaluation of this potential exposure pathway and takes the investigator through the various stages of receptor evaluation, VI investigation, mitigation, monitoring, and closure.

    Want to do it all? After you complete the 2-day Radon Measurement course, you can begin your move into the eld of Radon Mitigation with this 3-day course. You will learn how to diagnose and then correct radon problems in your home. You will also study radon mitigation structures in new construction, as well as the special issues of radon in water and safety precautions for mitigation work.
