    SUBJECT: Invitation to the 40th General Assembly of Student Councils (GASC)

    Warm greetings of solidarity!

    We are pleased to invite you to attend the 40th GASC on 20-21 June 2015 at the University

    of the Philippines Visayas Miagao campus, Iloilo. As members of the press, all student

    publications within the UP system are invited for the general assemblys official coverage. Meanwhile, the UPOU Student Council Provisional Committee shall continue to sit as

    observer pending the constitution of the UPOU Student Council, as was the case last

    January 2015 during the 39th GASC in Cebu.

    Confirmation of attendance, registration fees and all other information provided in

    Memorandum NJGM 2015-005 likewise apply. Deadline of confirmation is on or before 5

    June (Friday), 5PM through our electronic mail ([email protected]). For student publications,

    please confirm your attendance with Ms. Mary Joy Capistrano, head of UP Solidaridad

    System-wide Alliance of Student Publications and Writers Organizations. Acknowledgment letters containing the list of confirmed attendees will be sent after the deadline. Late

    submissions will not be entertained.

    Final advisory and further details will be released as soon as possible. Should you have
